That's right, people, I got a +9. Uh, with Papaya's shooting schedule, isn't that at like, 1:15 AM, you ask? Why yes it is. Little Miss Sharp Paws sat by my pillow and plucked at the blankets with great persistence until I turned on the light to see what was going on. Then she flopped over and smiled at me until I tested. I told her for that, it better be in the 40s, but it was just 89. (She had been quite high earlier in the evening and slowly slid to that, I think) Thanks for showing me the green, but really! Then she trotted out to the kitchen, which made me think she must still be dropping and really wanting a snack . . . but she wouldn't eat anything. After sniffing the food she went and used the LB, then curled up in her bed in the living room. I'm not sure why I had to be UP to participate in this routine

It seems like she's bouncing off that 89 - or maybe it was lower before she woke me, but I think she would have still been hungry if that was the case. Whoooooo knooooows. If she is flipping her routine to high during the day and low at night it will be much better for work days . . . although with the week after this one off, it's not as helpful as it would have been earlier!

Have a lovely Friday :-D

How nice of Papaya to wake up her momma bean for a green. Much better than waking up for a spot check and finding yellow or pink (yup, done that). And you also got to watch her use the LB - just what you wanted. Silly cats. Paws crossed for a quick bounce. Enjoy your day - TGIF!

  That's true, Wendy, it was at least nice to see a green and not waste the waking up on a higher number!

Sweet! Playing pied piper and watching LB use in the middle of the night  Ah well, at least you got to see a good green number  I love the way you put it, that she smiled at you  Hopefully whatever routine she chooses she will clue you in for it  Have a great day Amy!

Re: 12/13 Papaya +9=89 AMPS=248 +3=396

Hi Rachel! I think Papaya must usually think I am SO DENSE when she is trying to get me to do something and I am trying to ignore her. She is probably thinking "look, you slow human, how do you not get what I am trying to say here? Do I seriously have to bite you to get you to pay attention to the message?" So when I turned on the light she was just "ah, finally, thank you, you're learning"

Still -35 C windchill here so it's a mitten-knittin' kind of day . . .

Re: 12/13 Papaya +9=89 AMPS=248 +3=396

Ick. We're -20C with a -30 windchill...and still a snowfall warning. I made it to work but may not make it home without shovelling my car out somewhere  I don't even know how much we've had...it's been 10-15 cm every day all week and it's still snowing. BLECH.

Papaya is such a character. Sweet girl :-D

It sounds like Papaya just wanted your attention this morning. At least it was green.

 That report made my day! I love that she flopped over and smiled at you. She is just so proud of her bean's learning abilities   That cat is my kind of character!
Give that sweet girl scritches for me cat_pet_icon
Her pm cycle isn't looking too shabby ;-)

ETA: Just seen your suggestion to move the door again
