Good Morning, Everyone,

Today Rusty's task is to get back on track after the fur shot last night. This morning the shot appeared to be good, so we will keep fingers and paws crossed that he will come down to better numbers. It is very cold (-5 F.) and the high today is expected to be -1. Wind-chill is expected to make it feel like -25 F. I don't think we will go snowshoeing today, and maybe not tomorrow, since tonight it is supposed to go down to -14 F ( without the wind-chill factor). Rusty is in his little bed by the radiator and he ain't movin'.

Yo Kitties: Tomorrow is the Full Cold Moon. It is nice and cold here, so I propose that we have our Full Moon Party in my barn. We'll crank up the wood stove and make lots of delicious, hearty, cold-weather food and drink. I'll invite the deer family. They are all in my woods right now. We can go outside and play in the snow and gaze at the Cold Moon. Tess will pick you up in the Kitty Bus and she'll have lots of fleece scarves and hats and blankets. Elsa, Bug and Lola will serve up pizzas and hot toddies on the bus. See you all tomorrow. Everyone invited.

Ouch on the pink, bummer n the fur shot, but I am sure that he will head back down today now that there is juice on Board. Right Rusty? Back to the lagoon for you today. :-D

Stay warm there. That is bitter cold,and probably a good idea to postpone the snow shoe, especially with that wind chill. Good move on Rusty's part! Radiators rule!

Ugh on the furshot last night. It always seems to happen just when things start to turn around. Stay warm, I remember those kind of temps, one thing I DON'T miss about MN.

Yep, I agree, that is cold. Rusty, you are a smart kitty to hang out on by the radiators today. :lol: :lol: Get back to the lagoon, that's where the real heat is. Have a great day, Ella!

Hi again,
Sorry to be largely absent today. Lots to do here. The Russ Man has done a pretty good job coming down from the fur shot last night.
I'm in the middle of baking cookies and getting my gear ready for a woods hike tomorrow . It's going down to -15 tonight. I must be crazy! We're going to cook hotdogs over a fire at the lean-to.

Oh Ella, what a wonderfully fun day tomorrow will be! I love winter cookouts :-D In fact, back home I had a group of friends that we all went tent camping every February in the snow for two nights. Loved it! Mind you, we never got a lot of wind where we were.
I hope the weather holds for you all tomorrow and the wind stays at bay. Have a wonderful time :-D

Tomorrow does sound fun. I too used to love playing in the snow and cold.
That is as long as we had some nice hot toddy's to keep us warm inside ;-)

You'll definitely get to appreciate the COLD part of the Cold Full Moon tomorrow. Brrr! Our almost full moon was also cold, but still above freezing.
