Hi Liz, Rachel, Angela, Sienne and Julie! Thanks for stopping by! Pepper went up but he brought it back down to blue at least. Nice change of pace!

Oh Pepper. You look so good in green. I would like to see a bit of green on your, everyday

Love seeing that  back in Pepper's SS. Now don't be a stranger Mr. Greenie!

One thing I've been reminded of lately, is that both our kitters are also IAA. I know that the acro is more important than the IAA, but I also find with Neko that I have to keep a certain amount of green in her SS or she gets "detuned". I may or may not be dealing with that now. There was an excellent thread recently Ozy's condo when Donaleen found out Ozy has IAA, although he tested normal for acro. Some good reading in the links Julie provided and some of Ozy's more recent condos. Anyway, just a though to keep in mind with Pepper. With Neko it's not just seeing green, but how much green she sees before I have to sneak her back up in dose again.

Hi Wendy. I've been thinking about increasing a bit but I've been afraid to do it because I've had a hard time getting Pepper to eat the last few days. Today I thought he wasn't going to eat breakfast at all - then I decided to try sprinkling freeze-dried chicken bits on his food and he ate everything! So maybe that problem is solved.

gotta have that bag of tricks to keep our kitties interested in eating, don't we?! you know about sprinkling oregano, parmesan cheese, catnip too? tuna juice, heat it up to make it smellier - hmm, i'm drawing a blank on the rest of the list. if you need more, just post because i think someone has a post that addresses enticing kitties to eat.

Hi Julie - cats like oregano? Maybe I'll try that. I've seen some people recommend Parmesan cheese and I ordered some bonito flakes online but they haven't arrived yet. I never really had much of a problem getting him to eat before so I didn't have much on hand to try.

Freeze dried chicken dust is a winner here when my civie gets finicky. I've also seen Fortiflora as an appy stimulant and some people use crumbled freeze dried liver powder. I think Ann/Tess and maybe Anne/Zener might have info on that.

How are Pepper's teeth? I've seen dental issues cause cats to go off their food.
