Gracie's Flat and Ugly Yesterday

Happy Monday!! Many, many healing vines to Jupiter and Lucy and any others who need them today. Congrats to Errol and Michele!!!! And cheering Sassy on.

Gracie was a little quiet yesterday; I'm not sure if it was the leftover party hangover ;-) or the high numbers. She is just not used to these flat, high numbers and yesterday was an unusual day for her. This morning, she is back to her funny, chirpy self. She was running in and out of her cubes and then stopped in the middle one, sat up on that little round rump, and started pawing at the inside top of the cube. Because she's so little, it isn't much of a reach for her and she can sit flat and it's the perfect height for pawing at the top. I think she likes the swishy noise it makes :lol: :lol: :lol: We're happy to see her back to her rambunctious self although I think her meibomanitis is bothering her a bit. I do wonder if it can have any effect on her numbers....she doesn't seem to be in pain but just paws at her eye and it waters. So eye soaks for the LBG today.

I fattened up the dose last night and so we might see some NDW today; might already be seeing it. But I have my formerly calm demeanor back on and will be patient. Promise. :roll: :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol:

Is LBG not getting much in the way of a Levemir curve? I know that feeling too well. And I don't have any patience pants.

On a lighter note Auntie Josie is up to it again. She sent Chip some Shrimpies! Along with Terumos, a BUNCH of test strips and other items. And "magic dust" chicken bites just in case. Big thanks Auntie Josie and beloved departed sweet Ripples. ♥♥

Of course now everyone is *mad* for Shrimpies. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Ya know, I'm thinking I must try these cube things. I can't get Buster to play with anything. I have tried the simple household things and the expensive pet store things, but he really doesn't care for any of them. I miss my GA kitties who were very playful. Gracie sounds like a hoot! Hope she finds her way to flatter, happier numbers and her eyes stop bugging her.

Thanks Rachel, Ann, Dale, Tara, Carla, Wendy, and Kat for visiting today.

No...she hasn't been having much of a lev curve but I hope she will get back to it. She decided to clear today while we were out shopping.

Her eye seems better tonight. If you saw it, you wouldn't even know there was anything wrong. I just notice because she is my LBG and I notice every thing about her :lol: :lol: :lol:

Dinner and I'll be back to visit.

I always love the Gracie stories. She's such a cutie - I can just see her in that cube. I don't understand levimir curves at all but I hope the new dose works well for her.
