Well... that was an unexpected start to our morning! My "Let me grab a quick test" a 2:30 turned into a four hour, whhaaaattt??? Guess Cobb wanted to throw us a curveball!

For those of you who slept through the excitement, here's a recap:
PMPS - 226
+1.5 - 215
+6.25 - 64
+7 - 65
+8.5 - 65
+9.5 - 61
+10.5 - 70
AMPS - 138

Cobb seems to be feeling well this morning... bugging us for food. Apparently what I left out was not good enough this morning.

So we are in some uncharted territory here. We'll see how today plays out.

Re: 1/10 Cobb AMPS 138

i woke up thinking about Cobb and wondering what he did after i went to bed last night. amazing how involved we get with everyone's kitties. in fact, i've got my husband following Cobb, Ozy & Ole, too. i gave him the report on Cobb's night and the rise from amps to +2 this morning. his brilliant 7:30am "i'm eating breakfast" response was "WOW."

off to work - he might bounce, but . . . . what a great run of good numbers. we've gotten to a good dose! will check back in with you later today. great job - nap when you can!

Way to go Cobb!!!! :

Cobb has entered the world of
(and you have entered the world of further sleep disruptions)

Get in the habit of making notes somewhere on the ss, of any food eaten during the cycle, whether for purposes of guiding the cycle or just regular meals.
It''s valuable information and helps you, as well as those who may be helping you, to quickly and accurately get the picture.

It helps put the 'chart' in uncharted

and yes, a bounce is to be expected.
How high and how long. . . . that's yet to be revealed.. .

I hope you are getting a nap in this afternoon. Both you and Cobb deserve a rest after last night. Great job last night Suzanne! :-D

I agree with Sandy on taking notes. Try to record the type of food (%carb or LC/MC/HC) and amount eaten. Food is a great tool for you.

Thanks all! I think Cobb is a tad sluggish with the bounce out of the greens, but his appetite is good and he did come downstairs earlier, so not too bad.

I'll start putting some more detail in the SS regarding food. My timed feeder isn't exact...sometimes has a mind of its own. But I'll work on getting some more detail in there for you!

Hey Cobb's family!

I just caught up on your condo, how thrilling! Congratulations! I'm so excited for you all! Yipee!

Work that bounce Cobb!

I'm so excited, I don't even know what to say!

Yay!

Wow I was surprised by the green run last night. I bet you were too. Nice!

Looks like Cobb ishavi g a bit of trouble clearing this bounce. But he dropped so far, Mr. Liver was probably freaking out!!

Not sure he felt all that well this evening. About an hour before his shot, he threw up what looked like water. But he's eating fine now. He had been on the bed so not sure if he just got jostled or what. We checked his BG and it was 303.

Hope he feels better tomorrow and clears this bounce!

Looks like you might get a little more sleep tonight. :-D Some kitties will get a bit of acid tummy (clear or pale yellow liquid vomit) if they go a long time between eating. Neko gets a +9.5 mostly 0% carb snack to help tide her over until dinner.

BTW - I love how mid pinks is now the height of his bounce in reaction to last night.

Really? I didn't know that. It may have been awhile because it looks like he was not happy with the food I left for him today. And we were out for much of the day so I couldn't check on it.

Right!! Mid-pinks is definitely better than what it could be!! It's the little things...

the benefit of the bounce is a little less testing and a little more sleeping! he really didn't rise too high with it - that's wonderful! i'll be curious to see how long it lasts.

What a great change in Cobb!! Sorry about the upset tummy, and yes, a little snack can help tide them over, so it might be worth trying

Considering he used to bounce to 500+ when his numbers dropped into the pinks, this is AWESOME!!!
