Yesterday's Condo

Good Morning LL

Here we are on a very dreary Tuesday and I think we are all affected by it.
This is the first day in many that Max was not waiting by the kitchen or steps.
He was snug as a bug in one of his catbeds. Of course he has claimed the 3
as his own as I have yet to see his sisters in any of them. Oh well, I tried.

Of course I was worried as to what his numbers were going to be like.
I still keep expecting to see something in the 200's.

Max seems to have settled into the 90's, drop a bit during the day and back
to 90.
He is still being a good boy with the testing.
Breffis was gobbled up and then back into his bed for a bath and maybe snooze again.
No exploring this morning. I am back at work today.

DPS was so excited to hear that Max started his trial. She worked so hard with him
and I am sure without all of her care and devotion, Max would not be where he is at today.
I never would have been able to monitor him during the days like he was.

I hope everyone and their kitties have a really great day.

DPS can finally do the rest of her job eh? :lol: Give her a big hug from me, she's been a blessing to Max and your family.

Hi Randi, Thanks for your words of encouragement yesterday--much appreciated. I'm heading to Plattsburgh today. Good rainy day to go, since paddling isn't fun in the cold rain. Tomorrow I will go on a hike, Stu permitting!

Awesome numbers! Max likes chicklets =) I think Tugger's thinking about trying them too... he's thinking about it *really hard* lol. I love how excited your DPS is about it too =) You both deserve ice cream (just don't give any to Max!) to celebrate! It's hot here today so I'm kind of hyper-focused on ice cream, milkshakes, swimming pools filled with ice water.... I don't even want my ~O) today.

Morning Randi and Max!!! He is doing soooo awesome, can you believe it is day 4 already?????? I can't wait for the party (anti-jinx!!!!), Scrabble will have to get a new t-shirt for the occasion! HOpe you have a great day, you are doing sooooo well!!!!

Max is still going strong! Great day 4. Soon he needs to start packing....which kitty bed is going to the new condo at the Falls? :-D

I think you should be considering a name change:
I kinda like the sounds of Marvelous Max or Magnificent Max.
Not much mad about him now!

Way to go Max.. look at that pancreas doing all sorts of insulin type things!!

As per the chicklets discussion yesterday (I read it, didn't have time to post.. stupid job! :) ).. I used to like chicklets.. until I tried a random knock off, don't remember the name, but they were purple.. and tasted like DISH SOAP.. now I can't even look at a chicklet without my stomach turning over.

Dentyne peppermint is where it's at.

My fave is Orbit Sweetmint, does that mean that if/when (anti-jinx!!!) Tess tries again she'll be Orbiting?

Or as Melanie and Smokey said in a typo this morning ... Smokey Gun day.. she's shooting those BG's with some sort of ammo I guess.

Way to go Max as to the chicklets I love chicklets but they run out of flavor so fast that I will chew the entire pack right up and DH will laugh at me so I do not buy them very often only when I really want to enjoy chicklet flavor and want to waster gum :lol:

That was so funny and of course CD would pick it up. I speed read so I knew what my brain was supposed to see.

Anne - stay away from Oribit gum - pick another flavour. We don't want to see Tess
Orbiting but that was just too funny. :lol: :lol: :lol:
Can't say why I picked Chicklets. They lose their flabour after ike 10 seconds and you need
to shove the whole pacl in your mouth at one time to get any chewing action going/
Guessit brings out the kid in me and boy could I use that now.

OMG I was going to pick Juicy Fruit and stupid me did not see the connection.
AND it is my favourite non bubble gum.
I was afraid someone would think max was a fruit so I nixed it.
Did not see the connection to the juice.

as i was scanning the topics in LL to look for potential problems or unanswered questions i couldn't help but notice max's numbers in your subject line.
not saying nuttin', but have to tell you... i'm wearing the biggest silly a$$ed grin!!! :mrgreen:

ooooh anyone remember fruit stripes? now how in the world could they call it fruit when I'm sure there wasn't one bit of fruit in the gum at all.

and for the record - chicklets don't stick in hair or fur - that's bubble gum 'll do that! so I think randi is safe sticking with the chickles!

Gee I did not realize when I started the chicklets heading we would end up
with a condo full of sweet gum talk.
This has been so funny and it has kept me smiling all day.

Marvie - I cab't beieve you came up with the name of the purple gum. I can
even see the logo.

Very happy to see this PMBG.
Max had a little snacky when I just got home, back in the bed for a bath.
What a life!!!

Oh yeah.. something about Max would probably be good.. Max do NOT try thrills gum, it's horrible! ;)

I remember those =) Yep, had to pour the whole dang thing in your mouth to get a good wad of gum going on.

Are the chicklets smaller or did we just get big? Something to ponder...
