Good evening and I have NO idea where my day went. Sending out prayers and healing vines to all who need them and I hope Ozy is feeling better tonight.

LBG is doing great and had a pretty good day. She is always so happy every day and full of lots of love and purrs. Well....every day except Dreaded Lupita Friday. On those days, she loves mama and daddy and Tobes but not all members of the household (because we do consider Lupita family) are held in such high esteem. We had some fun play time and cuddle time and I'm certain she did something terribly adorable today but I was swamped and my mind a blank.

She started a bouncy bounce last night and I thought she was going to hang in it today. I got a call from our pharmacy that my doctor declined the autorefill for my thyroid med so when I called them, they said I hadn't been in for 1.5 years and I had to have my bloodwork checked before they would refill (and I have two pills left because the pharmacy just called me). I was supposed to have jury duty tomorrow and work Wed and so, based on her +5, I figured I could get down there (it's close) to get some blood drawn. Wouldn't you know that at +7 as I was ready to walk out the door, she had dropped from 188 to 99 :shock: I didn't expect that. So I fed her a big helping of 12% and prayed that she would be ok for an hour or so (and it was an hour by the time she finished eating). Thankfully, it did the trick but I probably spoiled a lovely green surf. Oh well....at least I can get my thyroid med. :lol: :lol: :lol:

When I checked the website to see what time I had to report tomorrow, they had rescheduled my jury duty for next Tues. Big problems as tons of very important people from D.C., L.A., and San Francisco are coming out next Tuesday-Thursday for briefings and site visits on my copper mine. There is no way I can do jury duty and so I have to hope tomorrow I can get it rescheduled yet again (it was rescheduled in Nov for Jan). I think I have been tolerant enough!!! Plus this is the third time I've been called in 1.5 years. REALLY!!!!

Ok...enough complaining. I won't even go into what my mother did :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Have a great night and I hope my condo made you laugh because the entire day cracked me up because what else are you going to do???? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

One of those days where you just "go with the flow". LOL Hope you get your jury duty rescheduled or postponed, whatever. Have a good night. Gracie will come down, she was safe and you did need to get the meds for yourself.

Oh dear, it sounds like your day was as irritating as mine, in a different way :lol: I have to laugh, or I will cry! :shock: I'm glad you managed to get your meds. Sorry about the jury duty...I got called once and then they cancelled it as a plea bargain was struck or something. They say it's random, but you must make a good looking juror for them to keep calling you ;-) Hope you guys are having a nice evening, Marje!

Apparently Gracie doesn't think you need sleep before a big day like tomorrow, even after today's insanity! :shock: Gracie, be a sweet little cat and come up a little so Mama can go to bed. There's a good girl.

Hope she lets you get some sleep, Marje. Good luck with the jury duty postponement. I never had to serve in Tucson, but I got called several times in Sacramento, and as I recall, they don't let you postpone more than once there. Of course, this is CA - AZ is much more reasonable. :lol:

I just want to say a big thank you to you and Mike and your dear little Gus for the wonderful video on subqs. I had to give Cinco some yesterday, and it's been a year since I'd done it. Your video brought me right back up to speed. It really is a marvelous tool. THANK YOU! Gus really was a doll. How nice to have that video to look at and and see his sweet personality showing through. I hope it gives you comfort to watch it. :YMHUG:

Wow, it seem like one of those day. I am glad that you were able to get your thyroid medication.

Gracie's upbeat personality probably helps you get through a day like that. Her numbers are looking good. It seems sometimes they go low just when you
