Neko ignored the dosecrease gauntlet yesterday, so as of this morning she gets more juice. I only went up a .125U increase, cause the full .25 last time sent her scraping the bottom of the lagoon. I would rather have waited until tonight to implement the increase cause she usually responds two cycles later (which would be daytime), but I just didn't want to wait. Her numbers have been bad enough I got sleep last night. :lol:

It's another typical Neko morning. Yelling a bit early for fuds, CPC in a flash, polishing the civies bowl and now keeping Otto (feeder) company until he delivers the next meal. It's another sunny day so I'll probably get back in the garden later once it's warmed up. I'm sure kitties will be in the solarium later too. I've got to nag the vetty's office to get Neko's cartrophen ready as today is her next shot day.

Sending healing vines for all kitties and beans that need them today. Keep warm those of you in the path of the polar vortex.

Hi Wendy! I hope you can get the shots from the vet. Are they just giving you one at a time? Mine is doing one months worth...but I had to do two weeks at a time since I didn't have the $$$ .

Sorry that Neko ignored the dosecrease threat...work that new juice Neko, and surprise your bean by doing it during the day!
I think it's so cute that she looooves her fuds and her Otto. It's nice with so many kitties that have appy and picky issues to hear of one who hoovers :lol: May it continue to be CPC

Looks like NDW happening, time for patience on the dosecrease. Neko was quite playful (for her) before dinner. She whacked her sisal ball and the new catnip mouse that Mariko brought, had a good cuddle and chew time with her nanner carrot. I also picked up her next two cartrophen shots from vetty (forgot to call me yesterday :roll: ) and Neko got an extra poke this afternoon, to make up for the BG test pokie break.

@Devon - I'd love a nice safe green this time, but looks like not yet.

@Michelle - I often post late, so that's why you miss me. She didn't move much on the last small increase but all paws crossed here on this one. I'd love a high green nadir. Neko is the number one member of the Otto fan club. :lol: :lol: I hope your fog burned off, we got a bit of cloud but sun on and off.

@Rachel - I'm doing 2 at a time for cartrophen as well. I had another vetty (civie Theo's) say it's best not to keep in the syringe for longer than 2 weeks. Neko's vetty hadn't heard that. Still waiting for the juice to work...... The one benefit to an acrocat is excellent appy.

@Donaleen - Thanks for stopping by. We increased today too.

@Nancy - A lot of increases happening today. Here's hoping they all work. Didn't get to the garden, went to vet instead. It was only gonna be tree pruning which can wait.

@Carla - Got the cartrophen, shot was so so. I lost a couple drops picking up the syringe.

@Lauren - Me too on the increase, but I'd prefer it taking hold during the day. :lol: It was in the mid 40's here, so plenty warm in the sun.

Sorry you got some sleep? Nah, sorry Neko's numbers allowed for the extra sleep, but maybe she's wanting you to rest up for a big jammy party she's planning?? I hope she settles in (daytime) to her new dose nicely and comes back to down to some blues and greens for you.

Sounds like your weather isn't too bad; hope you were able to get out and enjoy the day!

I love that your feeder is named Otto!! :lol: I'm afraid we left ours set without food too many times and now when it goes off the kitties are like - 'Did you r-e-a-l-l-y put food in there or do you derive some sick pleasure out of dashing our hopes?!'

YAY! for good appetites and playing. Not every kitty plays the same. Oreo runs with abandon (even into walls!) and jumps 4' off the floor to chase a toy. Hershey looks at him like, 'Bless his heart.' Hershey will bat a pompom or occasionally a mouse, but most often likes to lay down and roll around on it. Either way, it's soooo much more than he was doing before insulin, so .

I sure hope Neko comes down some tonight, but doesn't get too dramatic -

@Mariko - Neko does like any toy with catnip in it. NDW went away. :mrgreen:

@Libby - Did you put ideas in Neko's head about jammy parties? :lol: Your Oreo sounds like my civie Theo. Wooden floors make for many wall/furniture crashes. :lol: :lol: I can sometimes get Neko moving for the laser light or her feather toy, just not as fast as she used to.
