1/23 Tiki PMPS 296, +4 221, Doggie Issues, Again

I've been treating Sasha for a UTI for the last week and a half and noticed today she had bloody urine. The UTI has cleared up but there is now an issue isolated between the bladder and the vulva - seems to be the urethra. Did xrays to rule out stone, there were none. She gave us another antibiotic hoping to clear this up. If this doesn't work, she reccommends seeing an internist as it might be cancer if it's not bacterial. Meanwhile she is oozing blood as if she was in heat. Xrays also showed a mass of some kind in her lung. It's all hurry up and wait for now. Nervous as the existing antibiotic should have knocked out any issues of bacteria. Yet we still have blood.

I made them each promise years ago that only one of them could be sick or needy at one time. Tiki is sitting this one out, trying to be a good kitty.

Thank you all for the well wishes. I'm packing them up and sending them all to Sasha. Just took her out and only got her to pee once. Not sure if it's cuz she doesn't feel good or if it's just too darn cold out. How many days til spring???
