Sending the strongest healing vines and prayers for Angela's Daisy this morning.
Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty had a good night and we are starting the day in low blue. Nonetheless, I started a new pen of Lev. this morning because we had 55 days on the previous cartridge and it was almost empty. He enjoyed his breakfast, his lung treat, and thought about schmoozing, but elected instead to chillax in his favorite wicker armchair. This is something he never does in the morning! I got a new fleece blanket in the mail yesterday (from one of my charities) and I think Rusty was unsettled, maybe because it smelled different (I couldn't detect any smell at all). So I have stuck it into the washing machine. Cats are difficult creatures to try to figure out!!
We are still in the deep freeze (-16 F. this morning), but tomorrow it is supposed to get above zero. This evening we are having another film night with the "Mountain Disaster Film Club". But the 1932 movie--an early talkie--is an ocean disaster: "SOS Iceberg". It's another Leni Riefenstahl movie. We are all looking forward to it. These films have real panache because they were filmed on site, in real time, with real actors doing their own stunt work. I'll be making popcorn again.
NPR had a story on curling this morning. Our LL Sliders Curling Club is in the vanguard!! http://www.npr.org/2014/01/23/264884316/7-facts-and-3-gifs-hellooo-curling

Yo Kitties, I'm captaining the Blue Team for curling practice this morning. Bring your brooms and the stones and let's get out there. Hot tuna toddies and cimmamum cookies after practice.
