Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had some congestion last night, but seems to be OK this morning. This change in the weather is affecting him, I think. He had such a good time at the film party, seeing his bean friends. We have a bit of a bounce this morning from the 46 at bedtime.

Beans are off now to some Winter Carnival events. Will report later.

That's a nice start for Mr. Rusty this morning. Hopefully he'll surf nicely, and I'm sending him tons of healing, healthy vines for him so that he'll clear his congestion. Have a great day at the Winter Carnival, and please be safe and warm. Have a great day guys!

I am glad that Rusty is feeling better today. Such a sweet social party hoster! Hopefully the bounce clears, but he still looks very handsome in blue

I still love it when someone can call a blue a bounce. You are so in the zone Rusty - no ugly numbers for you, ever. Good job to all! I hope to read ater than you are at the lagoon. It needs its meister!

It is good to read Ella that Rusty's congestion is better today.

Hi again,

The LagoonMeister is on duty (although at the moment he is sleeping in his little bed). He's been out already at curling practice with both the Blue and the Green teams.

We had a fun morning at Winter Carnival. We went to the Lutheran Women's bake and crafts sale, a curling exhibition put on by the Lake Placid Curling Club, the Woodsmen's exhibition, and the Ladies' Frying Pan toss. (No, I did not participate in the latter: I don't want to throw out my shoulder and not be able to ski, climb or snowshoe!). The curling exhibition was really interesting, and they had club members there to explain the sport. I may go to a "learn- to- curl" session later this month. It's the day after our next mountain climb, so I'll have to see how I feel!



We're supposed to get some snow tonight, so we may be able to get out on our snowshoes (or skis) tomorrow.

Love that curling pic with the ice palace in the background!! Weather looks great for experiencing the activities. I've tried curling once, just to say I'd tried it. :lol:
