Yesterday a little bit more yellow and less pink. Today Neko got the rest of her dosecrease I should have given her last night.

We've gotten some good purrs and some nanner time this morning. Beans parked themselves in front of the TV in the AM, something that's only done during the Olympics. Cats were surprised but pleased at the additional lapping opportunity.

OT: The opening ceremony was pretty, but I kept waiting for the big "kd lang moment". As a volunteer, I got to see the rehearsal of the last winter Olympics opening ceremony and I remember the electric/spine tingling feeling in the building while kd lang sang Hallelujah and the thundering applause afterwards. Now I'm really hoping Neko will start seeing her usual lower numbers - for once there is something to watch in the week hours as Sochi is exactly 12 hours away from us.

Happy Friday everyone!

Re: 2/7 Neko AMPS 262

Hoping you get some good #s very soon, Wendy. Have fun watching the Olympics. I missed the Opening Ceremony, however, I'm more interested in the Summer Olympics because of the equestrian teams. :-D

I hope Neko is sliding for the blue team today. k.d. lang is definitely spine tingling! I remember her singing in Calvary too. :-D

Well, yellow is good...Neko, did you hear me yesterday about the blue? Time to go hang there :-D I hope the dosecrease is "the one"!

It's too funny that the cats were surprised at the extra lap time, I'm glad they got some extra snuggles. I don't do much Olympics watching, but I hope you enjoy it muchly ;-) Happy Friday, Wendy!

Re: 2/7 Neko PMPS 276

Miss Neko decided to stick with the yellow team for a good part of the day. I'm just tapping my toes, waiting for the new dose to kick in.

@Angela - Better numbers will come, just have to wait. I do more summer Olympic sports myself too, but really got into the winter sports after being a volunteer at World Cup events and the 2010 Olympics.

@Carla - Perhaps in a dose or two, still filling the depot so not much action yet.

@Liz - Blue team may have to wait for tonight. The reason I remember the k.d. lang song is that everyone I talked to who went to the dress rehearsal or actual opening ceremonies would mention that song as a highlight. I can still remember the feeling. She has an amazing voice.

@Rachel - Oh no, you told her yellow is good.  Paws crossed our frustrating cats find their GPS units ASAP! The 2010 Olympics I didn't get to see many of the events I wanted to as I was busy volunteering in Whistler, or I'd just see a quick 10 minutes in a break. But I did get a couple days off and the atmosphere in downtown Vancouver was amazing. This one I get to be a couch potato.

Re: 2/7 Neko PMPS 276

Whoops, sorry, NEKO: YELLOW IS NOT GOOD. BLUE and GREEN are good! Enjoy your couch potato status, Wendy! And thanks for the condo support, again. :-D
