No lagoon just, but not bad....no complaints, but we'll see in a day or so if we need to nudge her dose back up again. Laptime snuggles are in progress. I left my coffee in the other room...I guess it's going to sit there getting cold for now....cannot disturb the snuggly kitty!

Winter Storm Pax is here full force. I think we got about 8" of snow overnight, and it's coming down heavily right now. We've had periods of sleet mixed in there, too. Winds are picking up It's supposed to continue on and off through tomorrow morning...supposedly there will be a "lull" this afternoon. Naturally we have once again had to close the store. I've lost count of how many times we've closed because of the weather this winter. Grrrrr.

My cold is maybe a little better...or, at the very least, it's not any worse. It's not bad, but it sure is annoying! With this cold, I'm very thankful that Trix has kept a steady course these last couple days.

Have a great day, LL!

Amy

She's giving you a lovely surf in the healing range for part of the day, at least. This is progress! Hoping for a little lower surf for you both today. Have a great day, and hang in there, Dyana. :YMHUG:

A snuggly kitty is great on a day like this. I'm sorry you had to close your store, but I'm glad you don't have to go out in this mess. I hope Trixie heads for the lagoon.

Nice flat kitty. She doesn't want to give you any more to worry about. Stay safe, warm and dry Amy. ((((Hugs))))

Trixie, that's a pretty surf! It'd be a lot nicer if it was green, but maybe you're on your way there now ;-)

Hey, nice pic, that's about how much snow was on my driveway last night! . I totally sympathize  . I'm so sick of the snow! Sorry you had to close the store again...what a pain. I hope it all goes away soon

I hope you managed to get to the coffee at some point  . Have a nice "snow" day, Amy, I hope you stay nice and warm, and feel better soon!

I can't tell you how much I wish I could share it with/donate it to all you folks who actually want this stuff!

Beautiful snow but I'll take my 80 degrees and sun today

Hope the kitties are staying warm by the furnace register. Looks like Trix is having a nice, flat, blue day.

Stay warm and safe!

Nice, consistent day for Trixie. I'd take that surf any day and twice on Sunday! :-D

Bummer about closing the store again. The snow is so beautiful, but then, I only get to look at it - I don't have to shovel or drive in it!

Sending healing vines for your cold, and green vines to Trixie so she'll make you happy this eveing - but not too green 'cos you need your sleep!

I'm not loving these numbers, but between my cold and DH's back killing him from all the shoveling, I'm not even considering messing with her dose until at least one of us is more alert and functioning better.

Hey guys,
Here's to a good night's sleep and to feeling better tomorrow! That is beautiful snow. I wish I could be out in it. Today is my Auntie Elsie's birthday. She would be 113 years old. She loved snow and even when she was in her 90s she would go out on the back stoop of her house in Brooklyn to Enjoy just being out in the snow. Try it, maybe you'll like it!

Hugs and scritches,,

I actually used to ski and ice skate, and went to college in Indiana, so I definitely have spent many hours out in the cold weather. Unfortunately, I think my days of liking snow are over. Now, it means I lose money because I can't open the store, and my husband's bad back (herniated disks and the start of degenerative disk disease) takes a beating from shoveling it (and there is no money to pay someone to do it)...it's not a happy sight around here anymore. On top of that, my body just does not function well in the cold anymore. I have to have - at minimum - a t-shirt, a sweater, 2 flannels, 2 pairs of socks, and jeans on inside the house with the thermostat set to 71 to even be remotely comfortable (you can imagine the gas bills)- and even at that, I still can't chop cold veggies in the winter because my hands become so painful from the cold. My skin doesn't like it either. There are "warm weather people" and "cold weather people". We're definitely "warm weather people" here. I wish it was different, believe me, especially after how this winter has been.

Right now, we've got thunderstorms going on, before the next round of snow moves in....

Safe surfing tonight Trixie. Sending healing vines to you and DH. Our local mountains finally got about the amount of snow that you did but I'm just as happy for it to stay there. It's crocus time down here.
