Hi everyone,
Rusty had a spell of rough breathing last night and we took the opportunity to go btb this morning. And then there were the usual Saturday chores, so we are a bit late today. The big party and CatOlympic events were great fun, according to Rusty. He's figuring out the scores of the various events and will post them in a LL condo later.

His breathing is fine today. We are listening to the Met broadcast and watching the Olympics (mute). Multi tasking!!

My knee bothered me last night, but is OK today. I went out for my first walk this morning and it was pretty good. My friends are on the mountain (Little Haystack). I wish i was!

Aww, I'm sorry you are missing your mountain time, but I'm glad your knee is feeling better! Rusty is trying to make up for you not feeling good with a visit to the lagoon to make you happy, I see :mrgreen: . I'm glad his breathing is better today. Enjoy your Caturday, Ella :razz:

Rusty is lounging in the lagoon, I hope the water is heated. ;-) Quite the party last night, must have made Rusty breathless with the excitement. Glad to read his breathing is better today.

Love the idea of watching the Olympics to an opera background! And glad to see your knee is improving Ella. I suppose you can ice it by going outside in shorts. :shock: We are having weather in the high 60s, near 70 this weekend. Record setting of the wrong kind - too warm, too dry and the fire season will be here far too soon.

Glad to hear the knee is feeling better. Be careful not to overdo too soon and set yourself back! I know how frustrating it is to not be able to do what you want!

I'm glad Rusty's breathing is better today. Nice surf to the lagoon. That's great your knee is doing better and you were able to go for a walk.

Hi Ella, I see the LagoonMeister is back this afternoon. Keep surfing Rusty. What fun with the big party and CatOlympic events. Rusty throws the best parties. So sorry about your knee and missing out on the winter mountain climbs and hikes. Sounds like you are on the mend and taking care by resting it. Thanks for visiting, guys, and thanks to Ann for dropping in. How is Katie doing? I hope that Maggie enjoyed the Bridge Full Moon party as much as the LL kitties did down here.

Rusty is headed up this evening. I think it's part of a "cyclical bounce", but we had another "ouchie" shot this morning, and it may not have been absorbed in the normal way. He's been sleeping almost all day. The party wore him out!

Lots of tired cats around LL today. Rusty throws a mean party! :lol: :lol: Hey Rusty, turn around again please, nothing on the yellow floor and the blue/green teams need their skip again.

I'm glad you got out for a walk. That's good progress on the knee and nice to know you can do some exercise with it.

Sorry for the late post... I had the best intentions to work the board this morning, somehow that never happened.... :roll:

The CatOlympics sounded like they were da-bomb! Rusty you were the perfect host! and did well too! Elsa, Lola and Bug are grateful that you let them participate. They came home tired and worn out too. Olympics and then the parties! WOOT!

I am so glad that your knee is doing better. How great the you were able to walk some today. it should help with your recovery. Did you find a brace that you like? I so understand on wishing your were hiking the peaks with your friends. I remember how bummed I was when I had to take 2 months off, no walking on the foot at all... UGH! Longest two months on record!

Willie and Herbie had a wonderful time last night... Hoping Rusty heads back down this evening!!

I hope Rusty continues to feel well and his breathing is ok.

He does throw a mean party. Tobey baked cookies for days and days and he and Gracie drug in at who knows what time this morning!

I hope your knee will be ok and you all get rest tonight.
