Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty and I just woke up from a schmooze that turned into a nap! Pretty nice, but it's not getting my work done. It was very cold again last night (-17 F. this morning), but so beautiful. When we got back from the potluck I just had to stand outside for 10 minutes to experience the snow, the stillness, the deep midnight-blue sky full of stars, the silent evergreens in their cloaks of snow: it was magnificent. Today is another gorgeous, cold, sunny winter day. Probably the last one for a while, as it is supposed to warm up and possibly even rain toward the end of the week. Oh how I wish I could go xc skiing or snowshoeing today!! (my knee feels a little better than it did yesterday)

Rusty is poised at the edge of the lagoon, so we'll see which way he goes today. He's feeling good and had a good night. We just had our combing/brushing and he is in his perch over the radiator, gazing out on the snow and luxuriating in the sunshine flooding through the window.

I hope Rusty slides down to the lagoon today. I'm glad your knee is feeling better. Your snow sounds so peaceful and beautiful.

Glad to hear the knee is better, but beware the temptation of the snow siren! You'll probably get another batch of snow before the winter is over, and by then your knee will be ready for activity.

Nice slide into the lagoon. Neko's been waiting a while for Rusty to join her on team green. I think his condo deserves a :mrgreen: today.

Be careful of temptation on the knee, don't want to set it back. Tricia is so right to call that temptation the snow siren. :lol: I hope you are having a great day.

Well the snow sirens just stopped in MN. What a long day of heavy snow removal.
