2/21 Gabby AMPS~233, PMPS~320, +2~286, +5~239

Yesterday's Condo

Throughout the night, if I woke up, I was surrounded by kitties. When the alarm went off, they were no where to be found. They were both waiting in the kitchen.

I want to know who pissed off Mother Nature. After weeks of bitter cold and snow, we get the 50s and rain which comes along with flooding. This morning, the wind is literally howling and there were police cars by the back of my building. Apparently, ice has been flying off of the buildings around me making the area dangerous. There was a report on the news last night about ice raining down on pedestrians on Michigan Ave. along with windows shattering from the flying ice. I'm ready for tulips.

Gosh Sienne your state is getting the worst of the worst for weather this year. I hope you are safe and sound today. :smile:

It is not fun when the kitties keep waking me up either. I am amused that they were no where to be found when you woke up though. :lol:

Cute kitties in the kitchen. Maybe it's better there than staring at you or poking you to get up :lol: This winter has been a rough one. Let's hope March has less lion and more lamb.

I hear ya, Sienne. This weather is insane. We have a tornado watch till 5:00 today...as if all the snow and ice storms weren't enough. This is definitely a winter for the record books.

There's nothing like opening your eyes in the middle of the night and seeing two little glowing ones staring back at you! Oh good, you're awake, too! Let's play! The words, "go back to sleep" don't have any meaning for them!

Nice start to the day for Gabby. Hope your weather calms down soon. I'd send you some of my blooming daffodils if I could!

Ha - we have the same crapola crazy weather here and got tons of rain last night and now the Municipal ditch the town put in a couple years ago is overflowing onto my property. Did it last June and I had 2' of water on 4 acres of cut grass, so took out my kayak and went for a ride...........now the ditch is overflowing and just waiting for it to flood again. Rain stopped and sun is out so maybe will be okay.

Yes - H&D do the same thing - 'oh great, mom's asleep so lets play and wake her up again'.........but I wuv them anyway

I've heard my civie get up about 1/2 hour before the alarm, just so that they can be in position in the kitchen when I get up. :lol:

Tulips are just coming up, saw my first daffodil blooming today, and snow is forecast for the weekend. :roll: Crazy winter!
