Good morning, everyone,

The big storm turned out to be a dusting of snow. (I knew I would be The jinx. Everyone down here will thank me!)

Rusty had a good night, but this morning woke us with loud meows. I think he forgot where he was! He was happy to jump back on the futon and schmooze for 10 minutes until the alarm went off. This morning he had a good test, a good shot (yay, not a fur shot), a hearty breakfast (eaten all at once! Rusty usually grazes all morning), a lung treat, and we are about to have a short schmooze.

This morning we have our annual eye doctor appointments. Then I won't be able to focus my eyes for most of the day. Will stop at Petco for some food for Rusty on my way home. It's always nice to see what they have (the closest one to us in the Adirondacks is in Burlington VT and to get there involves a ferry across Lake Champlain, which, this winter, is 95% frozen).

Wishing you all a good day and sending good health vines to all of you and your kitties. Special thoughts this morning to Amy that Trixie will be fine and that it won't be too difficult to deal with the new dx.

Yo Kitties, not enough snow in Central Park to go sleighriding or skiing, but we had so much fun on the ice skating rink yesterday that maybe we can make another day of skating, eating hot dogs from Mannie's favorite cart, and tourist watching. See you all in a little bit,

Yay for a good shot this morning. I hope Rusty slides down today. I hope everything goes well with your eye doctor appointments.

oh no on the loud meows... poor guy woke up in an unexpected place. ;-) It sounds like a nice start today for Rusty. Perhaps he will head down to the blues today. Right Rusty?

Lucky on the minimal snow fall, huh. Well it ought to make things easier for so many people. Good luck with your eye dr appt. I can so relate to that being out of focus for the rest of the day. :roll: Enjoy Petco! Here's to good new discoveries there.

Thank you for the extra prayers, Ella...and thank you BIG TIME for jinxing the storm! I can't believe we only got about 1"...that is unheard of these days.

Hi guys .. Funny that rusty walked around meowing this morning .. mocha does that as well, especially at night when it's dark .. we always yell out to her that we're in the "west wing" :roll: :lol: Good luck with the eye dr appts .. Have a great day guys!

Good luck w/ the eye appointments today. Sorry about the fuzzy eyes though. Yay, for the good shot, Rusty should be back to his good numbers in no time.

Rusty! We all camped out in the bus last night so we are ready to go this morning! Skating was so fun yesterday, none of us mind a repeat. Better watch Lola and Emma though, I heard them talking about "crack the whip"! -- Tess

Hi again,
I gather that the skating party was a huge success.
Rusty is napping now after his dinner. He got a good shot tonight. His hearty appetite continues. Must be the city air!

Our eyes have been pushed around and found to be OK. But I couldn't see to read until this evening, so never got to Petco because I wouldn't have been able to read the labels. Tomorrow. Edward fared a bit better, but since he can't see much anyway, he wasn't' much help.

Rusty's numbers are looking more Rusty-like and it sounds like he's settling into the big city. All those adventures must be making him hungry.

I'm glad that Rusty is sliding into some nice numbers, and eating all his fuds! I'm glad the morning was off to such a good start and it continued till evening. Hopefully the eyes will clear up soon, that is such a frustrating feeling after they do that! Well, I hope you have a good time :razz:

My eyes gave out after a few condos, so have been listening to music all evening. Thanks for visiting. See you all tomorrow.
