Good Morning,

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=114963

Thank you for all of your support last night, super appreciated for sure! After 4 days of jumping from meetings to the office to job sites to test Ole and to classes, by Thursday night I am pretty exhausted, so being greeted by naughty behavior and off the monitor numbers is just too much. Thank you for letting me have a pitty party. I do feel better today, a little.

Ole had a tough night last night with diarrhea, and today he is of course very low energy. At least he is out of the blacks and getting those carbs out of his system. I only have 1 job site meeting today so it will be nice to slow down a bit and spend time with my kitties.

Thank you again!

Ugh on the diarrhea. The worst for Neko was after eating some bread starter - even scarier because there was yeast in there. I totally get the pity party - I've held a few of them myself. :YMHUG:

Good thing you got some catch up sleep last night. I hope you get to have some quality kitty time today.

I think we can all relate on the pity party. I haven't been camping in 1.5 years which I used to do quite often. I'm also somewhat freaking out about leaving town on a business trip next week, but I have no choice. HOWEVER, I have never been so bonded with a kitty and this experience has changed my life for the better (despite the sleep deprivation and time investment that comes with caring for a diabetic cat). I hope I am able use this to help other people & critters going forward. I just need to ditch this silly corporate job and get down to doing something good for the heart...

I hope Ole's tummy settles down. No more Hershey squirts, ok Ole? And head for sunny/blue skies - they are a happy place to be!

Hello,

Ole has been feeling poorly all day, though I have not been around to see him very much as I got called out to meet a new client and I have been gone all afternoon. He is mopey and growly and hisses when ever he sees Loki. I feel so badly for him and I hope he rounds the corner quickly.

Good Evening!

I hope you are all having a great Friday night. I've been so busy, I haven't been visiting people's condo's as much as I would like to, so I hope you are all well, and that you'll forgive me.

We are having a challenging day. Ole has been quite uncomfortable and letting us know it! Lots of growly noises and hissing, poor fella. Last week his fur looked great, today he looks a bit like a drowned, super cute, rat I am so worried about him, with these high numbers and all. What do you think is going on?

I have been reading up on Acro cats, and feel that Ole shares a lot of the symptoms. The most startling to me was the enlarged organs. When Ole had his ultrasound in November, the only thing that was evident was enlarged adrenal glands. I was told not to worry about it. I know all of this information was available to me earlier, but I honestly believed that Ole would respond to the 8uL dose, as he had in the past. I did read about causes of insulin resistance in cats, but not, I admit, super deeply.

I hope this weekend sees better results for my sweet sweet wonderfully impish Ole cat.

I'm sorry you had such a down day yesterday, and a frustrating one today; been there and done that! . I hear you on the time to visit everyone, I didn't get to a lot of condos this week. I'm also sad that Ole isn't feeling well today. I hope he is feeling better soon, and the poops are clearing up for him. Sending comfort and feel better vines and hugs! :YMHUG:
