Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

Yesterday
AMPS=139 (0.75u); +2=104; +4=146; +7.75=149
PMPS=157 (0.75u); +2=158; +5.25=182

Today
AMPS=185 (0.75u); +1=187; +2=158; +3=157; +10=144
PMPS=158 (0.75u); +2=144

Both Lucy and Ginger seem confused about the time change.
They both looked at me with the expression that said "Why are you up so early?".

Lucy is feeling fine, but her appy is just so-so.
Maybe it's the Turkey.....

I've removed a couple of mats from around her chest this weekend, and I realized something....
She got her belly shaved last summer at the vet because she was badly matted there.
And I realized how her fur HASN'T really grown back.
I guess I always noticed it, but I really didn't realize how odd it is.
It's not like it's freshly shaved, but it's all pink cute skin.
I made some bold patches when I removed the mats from her chest this weekend, and there are more to remove.
I wonder if Lucy is going to be all patchy....
She used to grow her fur back fairly quickly.... maybe not any more.

Is this normal for an older cats??

I hope everyone's having a nice day!

Sorry that I have no clue on the belly fur...maybe it grows slower? I hope the kitties are settling into the new time. I know I was confused when the alarm went off too :lol:

I hope that Lucy is eating better and feeling good again tonight. Have a good evening :-D

Re: 3/10 Lucy PMPS=158

Thank you for your visit, Devon and Rachel.
Lucy is doing fine, though she had a puddinpoo. :sad:
She got Chicken for the 1st dinner, and Turkey for the 2nd.
I'll see if she'll do Turkey again for the 3rd dinner.

It's amazing how flat blue Lucy is on this dose. Good to hear that she's feeling fine, even if you have to clean up the back end. Sending vines so that firms up for her.

Interesting on the tummy fur, I was removing knots on Neko today too. I've never had to shave her so can't comment on the fur growing back. The only time she's had her belly shaved was for her spay as a kitten.

Wow I agree on that beautiful flat sea of blue!!! I hope her appy picked up!

I do think as they get older and have things going on, it takes longer for the hair to grow back. But a pink tummy just invites belly kisses!

Have a great night, Mariko!

Nice blue evening for Lucy. Glad she is feeling well, but we need to get her appy going. Sending vines!

Minka has been shaved several times for various reasons - most recently for her thyroid surgery a year ago. Her fur took a while to grow back, but it did all come in eventually. She's just a year younger than Lucy and as furry or more so. Perhaps Lucy's health issues are affecting the regrowth. You might try massaging the area regularly, if she'll let you. That would stimulate blood flow and should help the hair to grow. And she might really like it! :-D
