Yesterday, nothing like a dosecrease to bring out the green!

Neko was pleasantly surprised to see breakfast early - we are still slowly working on the DST change. But she CPC'ed just as fast as normal and was patient waiting for Theo to lift his head from his bowl before diving in. Often she pushes him out of the way. :lol: Now it's time for Otto (feeder) to do his thing. I hope I've got it reprogrammed right. Between the cat tummies, BG meters, and autofeeders, there's a lot of adjusting to time changes. :roll:

It's blue skies out there, so I expect the cats will spend the day sunning in the solarium again. Think green kitties, time to practice for St. Patrick's Day, coming soon. Healing vines to those in need.

Wow, impressive start today Neko. I like that green!

I am so with you in that time change thing.... though the days of Otto and meter adjustments are behind us. The rest is still there though. ;-)

Enjoy that sunshine! I wish we had that... so in order to get some I am off to Oak Harbor for a bit. We shall see if the weather guy there looked out the door or not.

OMG! The auto feeders! I never thought about them when we went away this weekend. I'm so glad my Abys aren't on a tight schedule, as I didn't make any adjustment to the the times for Sunday! I keep such an erratic schedule that none of the kitties were thrown by breakfast an hour early today - they just go with the flow.

I think Neko spent the last few hours out in the solarium, but she was at the top of the stairs when we came back from boat bottom paint shopping. It's been a great spring day - I saw the first rhododendrons blooming.

So sad today to hear of Ole's crossing. Sending tons of sympathy vines for Rebekah - such a hard decision to make.

@Michelle - I hope you found sunshine today - it's been fabulous here. Neko found her green back. :mrgreen:

@Liz - No rowing today. First part of the season it's only 3 days a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Gives me an extra day to get used to really early mornings.

@Ann - The one thing I love about Neko on Lev, no fast drops the first part of the cycle. Means I can sneak away a bit.
@Tess - There you are - I took a brief stop on shore. Let's go spear fishing! ~Neko

@Tricia - Back in the lagoon. :mrgreen: Now she's surfing. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: My autofeeder has a lousy interface, takes me a while to figure it out. I can only set it to open on the hour so I have to set the time to be half an hour later or earlier. :roll:

I would expect an automat named "Otto" to have a few quirks. Hope you got the times right. There would be an unhappy kitty if not!

Hi Wendy! Boy, Neko looks great today! :mrgreen: . She's showing you how much she appreciates the early breffis :lol: . I was worried about my "Otto" too, but I think I got it. The good thing is, it's digital. The bad thing is...I don't know where the instructions are :roll: . Thankfully I figured it out! I did however, forget to do the meter until tonight...ooops. Oh well, I keep a journal. It's nice to hear spring is showing up somewhere . We have nice temperatures this week, and I hope it's not a tease. Have a great evening!

You could move to AZ and not mess with time changes. But not much (any?) rowing here. :sad: Um, how many choices do you have for boat bottom paint? :lol: Neko is having a great day!

@Ella - You've got me thinking about Sushi now - lots of sushi joints in North Vancouver, might have to visit one soon. Good to see Rusty has entered the lagoon too.

@Rachel - My Otto is digital too - I just hate messing with it if it's working. :lol: Manufacturers usually have instructions on their websites. Mine has better instruction on the web than what came in the box. :-x

@Liz - Neko did have a great daytime. Nice to be awake to see it. Some adult rowing on Tempe Town Lake but looks like most rowing in AZ is for juniors/university age. Probably not as pretty as our little patch of the ocean. :lol: We need to paint the bottom of the boat, because ocean critters grow on it if we don't. Choices include manufacturer, hard or ablative, %copper content, whether it needs a primer, how long the paint will last before needing to be replaced, colour, .... And there aren't too many places that sell it.

It was another nice day.
I bought an otto when I first joined LL, but haven't even taken it out of the box.
Between Lucy's usual tiny appy and Ginger's usuall mega appy, I figured there's no way Lucy would get the food.
How does it work at your place between two cats?

@Mariko - Neko is the boss cat in the house. With her acro appetite she is much more food focused than Theo. And he knows to stay out of her way when she's heading for fuds. :lol: I can't imagine what I'd do if it was the other way around.

I just had this mental picture of Neko barrelling over poor Theo on the way to fuds :lol: . I guess from what you've said, you don't need to imagine it, you see it in person :lol:
