Good Morning Everyone,

The snowstorm has begun and Rusty is sitting on the radiator, watching the snow swirling about. we are supposed to get about 18 inches. It may be an adventure getting to a friend's house this evening for a Feb. - March birthdays potluck. I'm making Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili, but haven't started it cooking yet in case the party is postponed (not because of the snow per se, but because parking might be a problem).

Rusty had a good night and this morning's routine went well. My knee is looking and feeling much better, but I don't think I'll go out to play in the snow and risk setting back my recovery.

Gorgeous start for Rusty...next stop, the lagoon ???

Even though you can't go out and play in the snow, enjoy the beauty of watching it fall! (We're only supposed to get rain from this one...as you can imagine, I am relieved.)

The LagoonMeister is surveying his domaine, Tess is coming out to give him the overnight report! The snow sounds beautiful (yeah, I know i can say that here in sunny CA! ;-) ) I hope you can get out safely for the party tonight.

Off to the potluck birthday party. I'll return to give Rusty his PMPS and dinner and then head out again to the party, so I won't be posting again until later this evening, when we get home. It is snowing to beat the band!!

Those blues are nice, but hopefully Rusty will get back to the lagoon soon. I'm glad you knee is doing better. Enjoy your party. Be careful in that snow.

Enjoy the party - it sounds beautiful there, but I must admit I'd rather see pictures of all that snow and live where there is sunshine on crocuses and daffodils. :lol:

18 inches of snow??? Yuck. I hope you have safe travels and a nice time at the potluck! Rusty is giving you some nice mid blues too, so you don't have to worry. Good boy!

The birthdays potluck was lots of fun even though 5 of our friends couldn't make it because of the snowstorm. It was white-out conditions out there and the blowing snow is really a blizzard. It won't end until tomorrow night, apparently. When I came home at 6 P.M. to take care of Rusty's PMPS, shot and dinner, I had to shovel my way back in (and we had only been out for 1 1/2 hours)! Tonight at 10 p.m. it was amazing. Fortunately the snow is powder (it is very cold: 11 degrees at present), so the trees look OK.

The house is nice and snug and Rusty was happy to see us.
