Good Morning, Everyone,

Getting a late start. Rusty woke us up at 3 A.M. by hacking up a small hairball on Edward's pillow! It took a while to get back to sleep, so we all went btb this morning. Rusty rarely gets hairballs and obviously feels so much better after getting this one out. And, he has a good AMPS. It looks like he was breaking his bounce at bedtime last night. So he avoided getting the drop added back on to his dose. Good boy! We had a good test, shot, breakfast (he was hungry for breakfast), lung treat, schmooze/nap, and now he is chillaxing in his perch by the radiator. We have brilliant sunshine this morning and it is cold outside (-5 when we got up). But the weather is supposed to change this afternoon and by evening we will have sleet and freezing rain, and all rain tomorrow with temperatures in the 40s!!
As I mentioned last night, the giant wooden chair has been set out on the ice in one of the bays in Lake Flower and the contest is on to see who will guess when it will fall into the water as the ice melts. We may buy a ticket tomorrow. (This is one of the things we do for fun in the North Country!)

Poor Rusty and poor Edward. :lol: Yuck. What a way to wake up. Glad he feels better though. Nice blue start this morning. Brrrrr on the negative temps.

How cool with the chair. :lol: Things are pretty darn exciting up there. Just my speed.

Yuck on the hairball on DH's pillow. I assume he woke up? My DH slept through the time Sasha barfed all over the sheets between us!

Ella, I notice you give Rusty a "lung treat". May I ask what it is? I ordered some L-lysine treats for my hard-to-pill, picky eater cats, and I gave two each to Sasha and Harvey this morning. Twenty minutes later, both were throwing up! I just wondered if you were using the same thing? Mine is called Vetri-Lysine Plus. Needless to say, I'm throwing them out!

Niiiiiice, Rusty :mrgreen: . What a great day to hang out in the lagoon! That hairball must have helped things along :lol: (yuk on the pillow though :? ). I've never heard of the chair thing, but I hope that you win if you buy a ticket ;-) . Have a good day, Ella!

In MN they leave fish houses out. We don't buy tickets but we do call the owners dumb! :lol:

Yikes on the hairball pillow fiasco, but it is great that Rusty felt better afterwards. What a day for him - excellent work in the lagoon!! Have a great evening, Ella!!

Beautiful cycle today - amazing what getting rid of an ugly hairball can do. :mrgreen: I hope it wasn't on Edward too. :shock:

If you don't think you'll get out on the water before the end of April, I guess that means you'll be picking a chair date somewhere after that? Liz's dates look pretty good too.

Super day for Rusty without the increase but the hairball on the pillow.....ewwwwww! ;-)

I hope your knee is better. Boy has winter hung on there a very long time. When we lived in AK, they would erect a tripod on the spot where two rivers came together and everyone would bet on breakup. It is fun!

Oh no, Rusty, not on the pillow! :shock: When my DH complains about Jersey pootin' on him during the bg check, I'll have to share the story of Edward and Rusty. A little gas pales in comparison to a hairball on the pillow! :lol:
