Gabby has had a string of great cycles (anti-jinx). She seems to be feeling good. Gizmo is back to his irrepressible self although, I'm beginning to be concerned about the lack of poo. I started him on Miralax last night but I noticed the bottle is past the expiration date.

Have you ever tried giving Gizmo raw, canned pumpkin?

Eeyore and our puppy both respond really well to it for any tummy issue, constipation, gas, or diarrhea!

Eeyore hasn't had constipation issues for a while but when he did I gave him 1/2 tsp per lb of body weight with salmon omega 3 oil on top (so he was more eager to eat it) and it helped within 12ish hours!

You got me looking, and my Restoralax (Canadian relabeled Miralax) is expired too. :YMSIGH: It sounds like yours still had some oomph in it.

Are you packing yet? I imagine that will cause a reaction amongst the kitties.

It takes a long time to go through even the small bottle of Miralax 1/8th teaspoon at a time. My last bottle was expired too, when I finally used it up. But it still worked just fine. I'm glad Gizmo went and what a relief for both of you :-D

I've tried pumpkin with Gabby. She turned her nose up! I've not had to resort to pumpkin with Giz. However, given that I'm trying to keep purchases to the minimum since I'm moving this week, I didn't buy any pumpkin!

The packers will be here on Thursday. The truck gets loaded on Friday. And I'm on the road on Saturday.
