Eeyore is turning back around! I just wasn't being patient enough for his new dose. I was happy about those green numbers last week so I was sad when they went away. I am glad that even though I wasn't being very patient in my mind, I at least physically held his dose for several cycles and didn't increase it back up like I wanted to. Eeyore is borderline this morning but I went ahead and shot, I will monitor him closely throughout the morning and day.

Eeyore was low most of the morning, and I monitored him closely and gave him some high carb food at +1 when I saw his glucose drop to 37. After I got a 137 reading for +7 I decided his hyp danger zone was gone and gave his ears a break for a little bit. My has he bounded back quickly though this afternoon, now (+10) already at 429!

Good catch on that 37 Melanie!  It's recommended to test every 20-30 minutes when they are in the 30's and 40's. Congrats on the reduction. :-D :-D You could shoot through the bounce and give him 1.5U tonight and go down to 1.25U tomorrow.

Have you noticed that as soon so you start wondering whether it's time to increase again, they decide to dive down low.

Congrats on the reducie!! Work it, Eeyore! Now, about that bouncing thing.......

Have a great evening, Melanie!

Wendy, good advice. I did decide to shoot though the bounce and will reduce tomorrow morning. I shot the 1.5 on the thin side so it was a semi reduction. You are also right.. every time I start griping about his numbers and am just about to let go of my grip, he changes. I will try this time around with the new dose to be more PATIENT.
