Yesterday, mostly blue with a touch of yellow and green. And Neko found a new friend. :lol:

Looks like Neko is back to basic blue again - I'll call that +4 meter variance. ;-) And I wasn't going to test until later but Neko was insisting. I think she just wanted the treat. :lol: After that she headed for her fleecy bed in the solarium, her job was done. We've had tons of whacking today, initiated by both parties. At the +4 treat they were both on the carpet as I was getting ready, glaring at each other and I could see them thinking - "I dare you to start it". But paws were kept on the floor that time.

I think Neko might have visited her new tire friend this morning. There was evidence in the LB that she had been in that room while we were out rowing. It's a strange relationship.

OT: Drizzly day so far today, but starting tomorrow we are supposed to have days of sun and warmth. Rowing this morning was quite warm. Might have had something to do with the 20 minutes at race pace too. But it was very pretty. It's almost light first thing but it was a study of grays on the water today. There was a low cloud/mist hanging around the top of the shore side trees but the tops of the mountains were still visible. It was all quiet except for the cries of seagulls following us and the train hooting along the edge of the inlet.

Thanks to Marje and Mariko for visiting late last night. I try to crash early on rowing nights.

I'm glad that Neko has a new friend in the tire I think your kitties are so funny with all their whacking, it's good they have someone to "play" with. I agree with meter varience and vote for blue! And hopefully some green to come

It sounds like you had a nice quiet peaceful rowing session...if I were with you, there would also be a panting and grunting noise so not so quiet, LOL. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day, Wendy.

Looks like lots of time in low blues today. As usual, she was tearing up her carrot nanner before dinner time. Gonna have to replace it soon, it's looking pretty disgusting.

@Rachel - I'm still waiting for Neko to whack the tire. But as much as she pretends she doesn't like Theo, they do tend to hang out in the same area most of the time. I'll admit there were some grunting noises this morning, but stroke seat was a guy - us girls suffer more in silence. :lol:

@Carla - There's been many a time I thought Neko was telling me she was going low, but nope, just hungry. I've even been mixing up the test times in the morning lately but right on +4 the whining started. :roll:

Lovey has done that to me too. She is scratching on the dresser for food and meowing. I think she is in low greens ..and I test and she is in the mid- 200's. I agree with the blue designation.

That's cute on the whacking. Lovey isn't into the toys too much anymore, but she likes the catnip.

That was definitely meter variance today. ;-)

So...I've read lots of your condos and understand the whacking and the tire friend. What is the carrot nanner? I guess I've missed that one somewhere along the way.
