Yesterday's green surf

All is good here today, the beans have been busy and neglected condo duty. Zener is feeling better after his vetty visit yesterday afternoon, when Dr. Miller and Anne mapped out a strategy to get our guy to feeling better. He's on 5 consecutive days of cerenia (instead of every other day) and 5 days of Clindamycin (antibiotic, shot, BID). He had a monstrous poo yesterday and another good one this morning. Detective Poo left the evidence (uncovered in the LB) for Chief Inspector Crapdash's inspection. Zener's appy has been good today. He even pushed Tillie away from a food bowl just a bit ago (never does that), even though he'd eaten a lot today.

Both kitties are outside on yard patrol now. The door is OPEN!!! Because it's warmer outside than in and boy howdy do they love that. :-D :-D :-D :lol:

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and grieving beans too. Great news that Lyresa's DGGD's eye surgery is over and done - that kid has been through so much. Paws crossed for OTJ trials either in progress or that seem imminent (BIG anti-jinx on that one). :-D :-D Happy Wednesday, LL!

I've been looking for you guys today! No AMPS? LOL. I've been wondering...who is detective, and who is the inspector? That is quite a title, and I'm not sure if I want to know how you train for it, hehehe. I'm glad that Z had a ginormous poo and a good appy, he must have made lots of room for fuds! Paws crossed on the treatment making him feel better:)

I'm glad to see Zener comin' on down out of those stinky pinkies today! Yay for yard patrol, nice poo, and a beautiful day to go with it.

Hope Zener makes a visit to the lagoon tonight!

Glad that Zener is feeling better after the vetty visit and that there is a new plan of action in place. i hope it does the trick.

Ummmm, did he just feel embarrassed about the pink color this morning, or did you lose all the test edits in the subject? I've been getting weird error messages when i edit a post today. The board was out in the wee hours of the morning too.

Oops! :oops: :oops: Totally this bean's error, I can't blame it on the board. There are his numbers today. It's a bit of a bounce but looks like he's coming down nicely. Who know what tonight will be, could be anything. :roll: :lol: I am Detective Poo and Anne is Chief Inspector Crapdash. We love Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect. :lol: :lol:

Zener has been sliding down all day from stinky pinky to the cool blue grotto. Time will tell what kind of evening it will be. He did some nice evening yard patrol, and had good appy today, so far {{{anti-jinx}}}. :cool:

The story of Detective Poo and Chief Inspector Crapdash did indeed come from the police titles in Prime Suspect and we loved Helen Mirren who started. At the time the Poo Patrol appeared we had a number of kitties on the board with GI and poo issues - too much, too little and rarely just right. Maggie (GA) of Anne & Maggie (GA) had megacolon and having a poo was a daily challenge. We chatted about our various methods of keeping poo soft (Miralax, pumpkin, baby food squash and so on), sub Q fluids, GI meds like Cerenia, Ondanstron, Cypro or Mirtazapine and the like. We also had Celi on the board (Celi of Celi and Binks) who would get us all laughing when she would describe the mad dash her kitty Binks would make after taking a poo - and that became the "happy crap dash". At such stressful times, humor, as it so often does here in LL, kept us all going on the not-so-good days. So, there were daily discussion on who pooed and who hadn't, and great detail on the size and quality of such poo. The poo patrol was born with its two resident poo experts - Detective Poo and CI Crapdash. :razz:

I don't know but we sure haven't. I don't think she has updated her SS in well over a year, maybe more. Also, she still has a facebook page but hasn't been active on there in a long time, since she left LL. The last we saw on LL was Binks had left the falls and gone back on the juice. We sure miss her, her humor was like water in the desert.

I guess that humongous poo made Zener feel better - he took quite the swim this evening. I hope the night duty bean is getting some well deserved rest. Sending healing vines and praying that the new plan works for him.
 
Hooray for large poos and good appys! You have a wonderful vet - magic finger massages and good strategies for keeping Mr. Z at his best. I am so glad he is feeling better all around!
