What a nice AMPS for Chi Chi this morning! How is your mom doing with learning to test? It's great that she's willing to try it now. I know it would be a huge relief for you if you could see some of those midday numbers.

oh my goodness! my mom just called me and said she tested Chi Chi all by her self today!!!
(shes 79!) I gave her a quick lesson last night, and told her to take her time. She was sooo proud to call me at work to tell me. She said it was easy, and that she had to try twice with the lancet device but other than that no problems. She was so excited that she said she almost forgot to give her pokie treat to her. I am so proud her of her too right now and I couldn't stop telling her that either. I can rest a little easier now knowing Chi Chi will be getting much needed test during the day, and I can actually go away overnight now to see my sister soon. This was a huge breakthrough today and I am so happy! :razz:

That's fantastic news! I felt such relief when DH did his first test. Pretty good AMPS for ChiChi too.

Thanks everyone! I don't know what I would do without this board and all the advice from everybody. I told mom that she did fantastic, but that it may not always be that easy, as she knows already though by watching me do it for 3 months now. Now hopefully we can start getting needed data to help our girl out.
