Good morning. Well we had a wild ride yesterday. All green from +3 in the morning cycle until sometime after +9.5 when he woke me up for food and tested 91. Hoping for a calm day and not getting a bounce. Thanks to Julie and Wendy for the help yesterday. The 36 and 32 got my blood rushing!!

Hi Elise,

I just wanted to stop in and say great job managing the numbers yesterday. I've been trying to read and respond as much as I could this past week, but you know how the board has been! :YMSIGH:

I was so happy to see the greens (well, except for the 30s and 40s) yesterday for Max. That AMPS isn't bad this morning, either. I know you're exhausted. Hang in there - hopefully Max is turning a corner!

Paws crossed for no bounces (or short ones, at least).

Thanks, Shelly for stopping by. I miss your posts. Julie commented that Max might be following in Jersey's footsteps of plotting my demise!! I can't think of better footsteps to follow. Our string of green ended just now. Hopefully he won't bounce too much. Have a great weekend, Shelly. Head butts from Max to Jersey.

yuck, the dreaded bounce appears. i was hoping he might not. still, all those hours yesterday spent in green will help him.

you were right, i didn't see your post last night til this morning, but i'm glad all went well & you both did fine. hopefully you can catch a nap today!

I was pretty sure he would bounce but was hoping he would land in high blue or low yellow. Looks like he has decided to aim higher and his nadir was at +3. The bright spot is he won't need another test until PMPS. I'm off to the beauty salon and then to my mom's. He was nice enough to let me have this day. Sleep will have to wait. Strangely, I feel ok for now.

Enjoy your time at the beauty salon. You deserve some "Elise time" after all that hard work last night.

i hope it's a salon that makes you feel pampered! nice of Max to be done with that low run in time for you to be confident you could go. :-D

Thanks for checking in Wendy and Julie. He just missed the dread red but the night is young. I got home just in time to get a little food into him before shooting. He was relaxing on my bed. Yesterday he spent most the the time under the be or in his latest favorite spot in the corner of my bedroom. I bought him a nice bed several months ago when he stopped using his condos but he won't use it. I even put it in the corner. I tried catnip but once the smell wore off he stopped getting in it. It looks so much more comfortable to me. Go figure.

yikes drama boy! calm yourself! *whew* at least he didn't hit red. *knocks on wood!*

i made punkin this cool bed and he liked it, but nobody else seems to like it. they do, however, like pillows and sofa cushions. :-D

I'm glad you got to have some Elise time today after the crazy day yesterday. :smile:
I hope this bounce will be a short one.

I know what you mean about the cat bed.
Maybe he will decide he likes it just when you start considering getting rid of it.
 
Well his +4 is his lowest number since AMPS so perhaps this bounce is ending. I'm not testing again tonight. Yesterday was the longest string of green he has had. I hope more are coming minus the under 40's please. Dare I also request no more under 50's until he is really ready to take the reductions are I am being greedy?
