Good morning,
Yesterday's condo
Yesterday
AMPS=151 (0.75u); +2=193; +3=205; +9=187
PMPS=214 (0.75u); +2=270; +5=290
Today
AMPS=187 (0.75u); +2=193
Lucy's blood work results came back yesterday, and they aren't great.
From yesterday's condp:
On top of this, I noticed that her RBC and homoglobin are low, and the hematocrit is 29%, so she's heading towards anemia. :cry:
I'm going to start giving her some Vitamin B, the combo Marje recommends, but I don't know if she can absorb much of because of her IBD.
The good thing is that Lucy's still feeling fine.
I thought she'd need another combo of cerenia, famodidine and cypro once the dose given at the vet wears off, but no, she's fine and eating.
Which is good because I think I'm going to have to be easy on these meds in order not to burden her liver at the moment....
If anyone please care to look at her lab SS, I would very much appreciate any insight.
Sending vines to all in need, including my Lucy.

Lucy's blood work results came back yesterday, and they aren't great.
From yesterday's condp:
The liver values are super high..... :sad:
ALT (ref range 27-158 IU/L) --- 1060![]()
AST (ref range 16-67 IU/L) --- 287 :shock:
ALP (ref range 12-59 IU/L --- 111 :?
White cell count is also high (ref range 3.9-19.0 x10E9/L) --- 27.3
So the vet thinks this is due to inflammation.
He thinks that the inflammation from her IBD/pancreatitis is moving up to her liver through bile duct.
He is putting her on another A/B called Zeniquin, 1/2 of 25mg tablet once a day for 2 weeks, on top of Metronidazole.
We are to re-check her blood in 2 weeks.
If the liver values aren't better then, we'll do Ultrasound.
Her kidney values are similar to the last tests in March.
On top of this, I noticed that her RBC and homoglobin are low, and the hematocrit is 29%, so she's heading towards anemia. :cry:
