Yesterday typical day cycle followed by lovely low blue evening surf. Thanks Michelle/Marje for the late night/early morning visits.

5/15 Recap:
AMPS 182 +6 257 +10 137
PMPS 110 +2.5 139 +9 107

I probably should take Neko up in dose a drop to reduce these daytime yellows. But I'm dreading what that will do to my sleep as Neko almost always does her lowest lows at night. We are now rowing 4 days a week. On the bright side that means I'm up at PM+9 for a test 4 days a week, but does mean I'm feeling more sleep deprived. I held the dose for a while cause I had a really wonky set of syringes and wasn't confident in the dose, and Neko does seem to be sensitive to small changes, but now the syringes are seeming better (antijinx). I'll probably waffle a day or two then take her up. Monday rowing is cancelled due to the Canadian holiday so wouldn't want to mess the opportunity to sleep. It's amazing how my life now revolves around maximizing sleep opportunities.

Neko's enjoying another day of sun in the solarium. Of course the weather is supposed to deteriorate tomorrow in time for the long weekend. Now Neko is sleeping in the sun in front of the screen door, getting a little breeze on her tummy. Two years ago, before Neko's SRT (stereostatic radiation therapy), she usually avoided the sun and was blinking her eyes in bright sunlight. Now she's like a normal heat/sun seeking cat. :-D And yes, we got more belly rubs and purrs today.

Healing vines to kitties in need. TGIF!

I think about sleep a lot too :?

I find that the calipers really help to keep the dose more consistant. J.D. is super sensitive to drop sized dose changes too, and those syringe markings (especially the ReliOns I was using) were worrying they way the varied. I finally complained to WalMart by bringing in three example syringes (one zero line was at the top, one was 0.25 down from the top and one was 1/2 unit down from the top) to the pharmacy. The pharmacy reported/sent the samples to the manufacturer, and all I got was a free box of syringes.

I hope you have a nice weekend. I know I plan to sleep.

+9 171 PMPS 142
And around she goes back to where she started today. Neko had a little wander outside after dinner. I think she was snacking on grass.

@Dyana - I do use calipers but several in this current bunch have either something wrong with what I use for the zero line or the plunger isn't even. I measure a couple spots around the barrel and get different readings. I agree on the sleep this weekend too. ;-)

I'm at the same point you are except I'm not rowing

come on Neko! Race you to green or we gets more jooce tomorrow!!!!

Hi Wendy:

I know how you feel about that PMPS. Cinco had exactly the same PMPS as his AMPS! What's up with that?! confused_cat

Neko, Mama is thinking about a dosecrease. How about you show her you don't need not stinkin' dosecrease? Don't get too carried away, though - some low blues and high greens should do the trick! ;-)

Have a good night, Wendy, hopefully sleeping!

+3 196
Hmm, not sure what she'll do tonight. I'll find out at +9 when I get up for rowing. Time for a pillow. I-)

@Marje, Tricia - Neko's only been getting to the 80's so probably has a bit of room for an increase. On the other hand, her two week average on the meter is still pretty good. Decisions, decisions.

Neko - the dosecrease threat has been made. Better get busy (but not too busy!)!

Yay for sun-warmed tummy rubs. :-D cat_pet_icon Have a good weekend, Wendy!

Mike and I were talking about those averages on the meter. If you aren't testing much when she is higher but testing more when she is lower, then the average is skewed.

Math......

Looks like you get to sleep but LBG still coming down slowly. Night!

@Marje - The 2 week average doesn't reflect an actual average, but it gives me an overall trend because I test around the same times. I have a degree in Math. ;-)

@Jen - Let's see if Neko surprises me. She's gone pink at +4 to green at the next PS, so she's done it before. I'll guess blue at +9.
