I woke up before the alarm to the sound of singing and dancing in the hallway. Neko was singing for her breakfast and civie Theo was doing the happy crap dash. He also makes a funny vocalization as part of his dance - it makes me laugh, just wish it was a little closer to the alarm. I did do TFS a bit early this morning, so their tactics worked. :lol: Neko is currently parked in front of Otto, staring at the feeder willing it to turn. She can do that for ages. So I'm going to btb for a bit.

I'm heading off in a couple hours to see Mariko/Lucy/Ginger. I'm looking forward to meeting her kitties. The traffic should be fun. Cruise season has started and they are expecting over 14,000 people in downtown Vancouver this weekend. :roll:

Wow, what a wonderful amps for Neko. I like too how she will sing for her breffis. :lol: You surf well today Neko - you sure are off to a great start.

I love Otto. At least she uses it, will wait for it. Mannie just kinda ignored his, for the most part. Better yet, Elsa usually beat him to it when it opened. I finally has to retire Otto. ;-)

Enjoy your visit with Mariko and her ktities. How fun!

Singing and dancing in the hallway in the wee small hours? Hmm. Someone's kitties are pretty brave. Sounds like you took it well, though. I would probably not have been so amused. :sad: When Cinco decided to serenade us really early, I just stand on the landing and yell down at him to shut up. Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't, but I feel better! :lol:

You're very brave to go anywhere near downtown today - 14,000 people! Wow. :shock:

Have fun with Mariko and Lucy. We'll be looking forward to reading reports on the meeting from both of you!

Just got back in time for Mr. Greenio to make an appearance! :mrgreen: I had debated not testing as DH got the +8, but am glad I did. I had a great visit with Mariko, Lucy, and Ginger. Mariko put on a lovely sushi spread for lunch. Neko and Tess can take lessons from her for the next full moon party. :lol: Lucy is such a cutie and so gentle. Ginger is a bit tentative at first, but we did get some good scritching and purring. It's amazing how time can go by talking about cats. Here's some pics of Miss Lucy and the fabulous spread.

@Michelle - Awesome, I got a post up early enough for a Michelle post! Visit was great, Neko cooperated with a mostly low blue surf and showed she was happy to see momma home. :mrgreen: Cruise season to Alaska starts in May, you don't want to need a cab on the weekends now. :shock:

@Rhiannon - Neko has a strident meow which isn't so pleasant but she also has one that's not hard on the ears. Just one section of town that is the worst for tourists, near where the boats dock.

@Catherine - Maybe it's more like a yodel for dinner. :lol: Trip there was good but I haven't been to that part of town lately and they've changed some of the roads to one way the wrong way since last I was there. :roll:

@Tina - Mariko came to me a while ago and met Neko and Theo, so it's great to see her kitties this time. Happy crap dash is a full on charge down the hallway, stopping, then charging back the other way. Guess he feels good after. :lol:

@Tricia - It was only 3/4 of an hour early, so not too bad but I always value my sleep. Neko comes in the bedroom and yeowls with her loud voice. DH slept through it. Timing wasn't so bad with the people, just one small section of town. I took a different route on the way home. Visit with Mariko was fun!

Looks like Neko gave you a lovely AM cycle today!

Singing for her breffis - how cute is that?! It would be nice if they waited for the alarm, though. Sometimes ours jump up and down on the bed, give head butts, scratch at the covers, or even nip (naughty!) if they want their breffis early. If they are really incessant, sometimes we give in, so I guess they have us trained well. :roll:

What a delicious looking spread Mariko put out for you! It sounds like you had a really lovely day today. :smile:

I love the waking up to singing an dancing even if it was the happy crap dash. Also so nest that you got to go to Marikos. The food looks amazing! And Lucy....what a sweetheart.

After zooming up 80 points in 2 hours, she decides to surf. Here I was expecting a major bounce and good sleep. :roll: Neko had a good trip out after dinner. I gave her a Cartrophen shot yesterday (for arthritis) and she was hopping down the stairs a lot more comfortably tonight.

@Michelle, Amy, Ella, Julie, Jen, Josie, Elise, Marje - Thanks for visiting and checking out the pictures. Mariko's kitties are both very sweet, just like their mommabean. It was a great day, and Neko made the day even better with a bit of green.
@Rusty - Mariko told my bean where to get the special ingredients, so I can practice making sushi and make it look good like Mariko's.
