Yesterday, not a bad day cycle, then mommabean did a partial fur shot at night.

Poor Neko, had to suffer through a partial fur shot again. Since she's on Lev it didn't really show until late last night (or rather, this morning). I smelled Lev at the +3 and when the +9 was higher, I confirmed it. Neko still felt great most of the night. At the +9 alarm she came and lay down tummy up for some rubs and purrs. This morning however, I could tell she was going up cause she was hanging around the kitchen. She's feeling better now and there's been lots of solarium napping, or I'm guessing there has been. Turns out the fur shot was well timed. :roll: Friends are in town who we haven't seen since they moved away a few years ago. Neko gave great numbers to get out for a bit.

Late condo again. I thought I'd have time to post this morning but didn't. Healing vines to kitties and beans that need them. Sending save travels vines to Anne/Liz/Zener/Tillie.

Thanks for the travel vines and wishes, but we have been lucky. We did not need to evacuate from the fire {{anti-jinx}}. Our next door neighborhood (4 miles south of our house) was on pre-evacuation notice, which means get all your gear ready and packed in your car because you may need to leave with an hour's notice. We were prepared in case, if they had to evacuate then we would be next in line. That was lifted today. The fire is likely to continue for another week to 10 days before we can completely relax from this one. My trip to Germany was cancelled, I just could leave with all this going on.

As Anne called it, a nice slide into cool blue tonight. I hope she stays there. She's currently out on +1 dinner yard patrol. It's become a tradition.

@Mariko - I didn't test for 9 hours today, but I had a good idea I didn't want to see those numbers anyway. :lol: Visit with friends was good, lots to talk about.

@Rhiannon - Timing was good, nice not to half to worry about Neko.

@Anne - So glad you guys don't have to travel (antijinx). :YMHUG: We too live in a fire interface zone, ie. close to the woods. Reading about what is happening in Flagstaff is getting me moving on having an emergency kit ready for the kitties. Don't blame you on skipping the Germany trip.

Bummer on the fur shot. That is just so aggravating, isn't it? And there's not a darned thing you can do but move on! :YMSIGH: At least you were able to take advantage of it to be gone and not have to worry about what she was doing!

Neko, why did you go up to yellow after starting the evening in blue? You really look so much prettier in blue, you know. I think you should go back there and stay the rest of the night. It would make your mamabean happy!
