Good Morning, Everyone,
Cold and sunny here at camp this morning. Rusty is napping in a sunbeam. We had a good night, but needed more blankets! This morning's AMPS is exactly the same as last night's bedtime test. I'm wondering if my meter is working correctly, since it has been frequently giving me a number that it had given the previous day. When we get home I'll check (it's hard to do here, although I do have another meter with me). Anyway, Rusty ate all of his nighttime food and enjoyed his first sitting of breakfast.
Our day will be busy. This morning we have to drive to the nearest supermarket (in Speculator: 25 miles; 50 RT) and to the wine store. This afternoon we will spend in camp with Rusty, and paddling close to camp. This evening we are dining out with our friends, who live down the road and take care of the camp for us. This is our annual spring "outing". Rusty will hold the fort for a few hours this evening. Tomorrow we will be paddling on Indian Lake, about 10 miles down to a picnic beach and back, and on Monday we go home (the Monday Paddle was postponed because of the superabundance of blackflies on the narrow streams in the wetlands).
Wishing you all a good day and sending vines to all in need,
Ella & Rusty
Yo Kitties: We are all set to fish, swim, paddle, picnic, and practice for the Kitty World Cup. Neko has her sushi knives all sharpened and she and Tess will be making sushi creations from the fish we catch. It's a beautiful day, and expected to be warm. See you all soon.
