Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is napping in his basket. The morning routine went well, with the exception of the "lung treat", which was refused again. He's taking his time to get down from the trip bounce. I thought that since we are back home, he would have been back to his normal numbers. We'll see what happens today, although there will be limited opportunity for tests.

I am about to head out to the start of the bike ride that I am leading: the Paul Smiths Loop. I hope my knee holds out. It has been bothering me lately and I strained it again on Sunday's paddle. (but in a different place, so I'm not too worried).

The party remembering Jean begins at 3 P.M. Showers are predicted, but maybe they'll hold off. It is very humid, however.

I don't know when I'll continue Rusty's condo today. Maybe in the early afternoon, but then certainly sometime this evening.

Come on down Rusty! The lagoon awaits you, and needs its meister. Perhaps a slow slide down today would be good, and bye bye bounce. Bummer n the lung treat. Rusty, what is up with that?

Enjoy the ride today. I too hope your knee will be OK. Do you wear a brace when out on rides like this? Maybe that will help? Bummer on straining it again, though I can relate. I seem to be "nursing" along a strain near my hip. Most annoying! Not fun when one strains it again. It is so hard to heal these things, and remain somewhat active.

Best wishes for jean's remembrance. I am sure it will be a nice one. I hope you will get that good rainless weather.

Rusty will be busy entertaining kitties today while you are gone. There is an OTJ party to plan for tomorrow and a full moon on Friday. Maybe you'll come home to some greens.
