Yesterday's Condo

No, you are not seeing things. This really is a condo from me before noon (Pacific time)!!! Decided to try to get it done before I run up to get ready for my doctor appt. I have a lot of errands to run after, so I knew it would be late (as usual) before I could get online again.

Cinco is still hanging in the yellows with some blue. Normally I would do a dosecrease, but we're getting a new vial of insulin today and I want to give that a cycle or two to see if it makes a difference. Then, since we're still not 100% sure we'll get home in time Saturday night to do his shot on time, I want to wait till Sunday (or Tuesday if we do the 18 hour thing) to rock the boat. So I have my patience pants on and I keep hoping he'll get lonesome for China and slip on down to the lagoon to see her! He had one of his picky mornings - ate his 1st breakfast but required a little plate chasing and kitty crack (Forti Flora) to eat the second one. All of my kitties were a little less enthusiastic about breakfast this morning that usual. Maybe they are tired of Wellness turkey. I'll have to move that further down in the rotation for it's next appearance.

Minka's bloodwork and urinalysis came back all good. YAY!!!!! It's been a while since I got to say that! :-D :-D :-D :-D I was relieved that the thyroid was good, because she does sometimes manage to ditch her pill and we don't find it until a day or more later.

Sasha decided she didn't want her pill pockets this morning. I had to use the pill popper, but managed to get them in her without the sack. The wind has picked up something awful, and so I wasn't really surprised to hear her sneeze. I gave her a dose of Atarax. When the vet called with Minka's results, I told her about the sneeze and she agreed with me that it must be the seasonal allergies, and therefore I should just use the Atarax and not get too concerned unless it gets really bad.

Haven't heard from the Oncologist or surgical department yet today. They will probably call while I'm in with my doctor! Isn't that the way it works?

Gotta run. Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. Special prayers to J.D. & Dyana, Melissa and drooler Charlie, and Chris and her DM. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Re: 6/11 Cinco AMPS 250 +3 223

Looks like another yellow day for Cinco!

Sounds like you have a full plate! Nice to see that Minka's blood work is good and it only seems like allergies for Sasha. I bet you are happy with this!

Hope you have a good day/evening!

Re: 6/11 Cinco AMPS 250 +3 223

Yay for good b/w results for Minka. I hope Sasha's sneezing settles down. Cinco, you need to keep sliding down today and head to the lagoon. Tricia, I hope your doctor appointment went well.

Well Cinco..I'm tired of waiting, so I'm coming up to meet you and see what's so interesting up there! ~ China

Hi Tricia! Hope things went well at the doctor...and that the vets didn't call while you were in the middle of something! I know it has to be hard to wait to hear news

I guess China's going to go up to find Cinco...hopefully one of them will drag the other back down!

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday!

Re: 6/11 Cinco AMPS 250 +3 223

This is a packed condo! Congrats to Minka for a nice vetty report. Sending allergies-be-gone vines for Sasha. Good luck with Cinco's numbers and your patience pants! Hope she slides on down and surfs in some "suitable" numbers. Have a good day, Tricia!

Re: 6/11 Cinco AMPS 250 +3 223

Yep, good luck with the patience pants! That is a great report for Minka and here is wishing a good rain(or something!) to clear away the pollen for Sasha. Thanks for your visit to our condo, I know you really have your hands full!

Re: 6/11 Cinco AMPS 250 +3 223

Hi Tricia,
I am really glad to hear that Minka's b/w results came back all good!! :-D
Good job getting the pill in Sasha!
I have never been successful at using those pill poppers.
I always end up with a very unhappy cat and very soggy pill.
Sending more prayers for Sasha.
And sending appy vines to Cinco.
I hope he'll eat better this evening.

Re: 6/11 Cinco PMPS 212

Thanks for the visits and well wishes.

I am typing one-handed, so this will take a while. I got a cortisone shot in one of my fingers and have to ice it for ten minutes every hour. I figured this is one thing I can do (sort of) while I'm icing.

Cinco didn't make it off the yellow floor yet, but his PMPS makes me hopeful about the possibility of some blues tonight.

China, it was nice of you to come looking for me. Let's see if we can make our beans happy tonight - that will surprise them!

The oncologist called to tell me she hasn't been able to reach the pathologist yet and wanted me to know she had not forgotten me. She said he had been out but would be back tomorrow. She was dismayed to hear the surgery dept had not contacted me yet and said she would follow up with them.

Everyone ate their dinner with more enthusiasm, altho Cinco required a little plate chasing. I think he enjoys messing with me. Sasha is still refusing the pill pockets, so the pill popper was deployed. Tomorrow is the last day of ABs. :-D

The ten minutes are up and I need to go start dinner. My thoughts and prayers are with Helle at her shocking loss of Bisse. Very sad.

Re: 6/11 Cinco AMPS 250 +3 223

Wonderful news about Minka's BW!! I'm glad the oncologist is on top of things, even though it seems no one else is  ...how can they not return calls abou something so importang??

I hope the new juice brings you some blues and greens. Yep, the kitties just luv to keep their beans on their toes....they know how to wear us down!!

Ouch on the finger...I hope it feels better soon, and that you are having a relaxing evening, Tricia!

Thanks for stopping by, Amy.

I do understand about the pathologist - if he's out, he's out. Maybe he was at a seminar or something. Who knows? I'm just grateful that the Oncologist called and updated me and that she is still working on it.

It's too soon to say that the new jus made a difference, because the PMPS was pretty good, but I do like the +3. We'll see where we go from here. I'm up for a PJ party, if necessary! But not too late, Cinco. I do have a hair appointment in the morning, and you know us lady beans and our hair!

Yes, the shot hurt A LOT!!! but the cortisone usually gives me pain relief in that joint for two to three weeks, so it is worth it. I have to be hurting pretty badly to agree to a shot. I was.

I am having a relaxing evening. I made an easy dinner and I'm finishing my wine waiting for my DH to come back downstairs so we can continue binge watching old TV shows on DVD - we're doing Remington Steele now. I hope everyone is having a good evening, too!

Love the good news in this condo. I am curious to see that next BG test. it does look like the new au jus might just have a bit more kick in it.

Great news on Minka's B/W - amazing how those good results makes the beans happy. I like your oncologist, imagine following up like that. :o

Enjoy Remington Steele - sounds like an excellent way to spend the evening.
