Good morning everyone!! Congrats to Juno for going OTJ!!!!

Billie had a lovely day yesterday! She started with an AMPS of 245 but landed in some lovely green numbers for at least 4 hours! I stopped pricking her after I saw that her number was rising, because we had one bad poke that got a bit messy and she was a bit miffed after that. Sorry Billie! She bounced last night but is right around where she started yesterday, so we'll see what she has in mind for today!

I unfortunately will be about 2 hours late with her shot tonight - hopefully no later than that. I have an event that's 2 hours away, and I can't get home before midnight. I will plan on shooting 12am/12pm tonight and tomorrow, then rolling back by 15 minutes until we get back to normal. Does that sound okay? If there is a better way to handle that situation, just let me know. Thank you!

Have a great day

Nice cycle today. I hope Billie continues to like those greens.

As for resetting the schedule you can do the 15 minutes early per cycle, or 30 minutes once a day. An alternative some have used is to do two cycles 18 hours apart. That gets you back on schedule. She will be a bit higher but it does give you some flexibility if you can't make a shot time.

Thank you!! I ended up getting back 3.5 hours late, unfortunately. I was up in the Adirondacks and the drive home on dark mountain roads in the rain was a slow one. I thought about going with the 18 hour plan, but Billie was at 349 when I got in and I didn't want to wait. So, we'll be having some late nights as we roll back for the next few days! I'm guessing she's high from a bounce and the late shot. I hope she gets back to some nice numbers tomorrow!

if she's really high at pm +10 in the morning, say over 300 again, and you'd be able to monitor after that, you can probably shoot early to help you get back on schedule.

Thank you Julie - that sounds good to me. I will shoot early if she is over 300 around +10. Even if I just shoot an hour early, it will help to get us back on track!
