J.D. went on a couple of walks after the appointment, if I remember right. He seemed relaxed last night, and didn't walk much during the night and sometimes when he did, he walked a step and then stopped. During the morning he was walking pretty well (normally) and he ate his 1st Breffis and some of Ginger's. When I left to go to work he was eating more food.

Tonight, he still seems sore, and one of his back feet seems extra splayed out. He only ate a couple bites of 1st Dinner, so far. Ginger refuses completely. J.D. is laying on the deck. I hope he is not sore.

Last night (in all the posts that I lost), Amy gave me a link to an acupuncture vet near her. Amy, I lost that link, and if you see this post, I would appreciate you re-posting it for me. I did email the doctor last night and she called me today at work and seemed better than the one I am going to. I think their hours will work out, and we now have another initial exam and acupunture scheduled with her on the morning of Saturday July 5th. It sounds like she is all into nutrition and stuff.

That was a lot of writing.

I'm off to get J.D. up and see how he walks outside. He did poo some today, so that's good. With all he ate yesterday, I thought he would be pooing a lot more.
 
I hope JD isn't feeling sore tonight. Eat your fuds JD! How many acupuncture needles did JD get yesterday (if you remember)? Neko got less than 10 but I remember watching punkin's acupuncture video and it looks like he got a lot more. The acupuncture vet I'm going to is a lot more holistic and into nutrition and supplements too, even Chinese medicines - which we aren't doing.

You must be tired Dyana - JD sure kept you up late last night.
 
I'd say he got about 18 to 20.

I am more hopeful about this other vet that Amy linked me to. They are just a little further away, and have evening hours a couple days a week and are open until 2:00pm on Saturdays (the other one is only open until 11:00am).

I did read this on a site I was looking at: "Worsening of symptoms. While acupuncture is supposed to make animals better, a treatment can occasionally make a patient's symptoms worse. This is because the acupuncture treatment is opening blood flow and energy flow to an area that has been deprived for a period of time. The perception of pain increases in response to this new flow, but the effect is transient, usually only lasting 24 to 48 hours before improvement is noted."

He went poo again outside and it was wetish and stinky. I could give him Flagyl, but I'm holding off. I probably should just give it to him. FortiFlora doesn't seem to help. I wonder if his Renew Ultimate Flora probiotics would be better. I kind of expected him to have a tummy ache after all that HC and MC he ate yesterday.

He did just finally eat CPC 1/4 can FF Chunky Turkey with FortiFlora on it.

The only thing I'm not sure about with this Dr. new Amy's work is that she mentioned giving B12 through the needles :shock:

Yes, I am tired. When I am tired, I usually stay up too late, like tonight.
