Hello everyone!! Billie had a great day, and I hope you all did too!

Our food experiment of feeding 1 oz at PS, +1, +2 and +3 seems to be going amazingly well based on data from today and last night! No crazy drops and no yellow PS numbers!!!! I was so happy to see that 159 tonight! Since she was at 161 at +9, I expected her to creep up a bit but she didn't :-D I'm hopeful that this pattern will continue.

that's great, deanna! sometimes just smoothing out the cycle can really help the BGs. She's had a lovely flat day today, and a nice pmps for Billie tonight, too.

Whoa! Slow down, little lady!

I am feeding some more 5% food after getting the reading of 56, and I will test again in 20-30 minutes. Is that a decent plan for now? I have vanilla ice cream, karo and HC food if necessary.

Hopefully a little snack will get her up on her surfboard!

If she continues to drop, you can try some higher carb food like the Gravy Lovers foods. If you pop the top and then push it back down on the food, you'll get gravy oozing out (best to have a bowl ready..lol)

It's the gravy that has the carbs and you don't usually have to give a lot to get them to come up...and you don't want to fill them up too quickly either in case you need them to eat later in the cycle, so a little gravy is usually just the thing

Yes! Thank you Wendy. I like to think that I'm totally calm and collected...but I just picked up a parmesan cheese shaker and went to drink out of it thinking it was my water. :lol:

I just got a +3.25ish test and she's at 63, so that's reassuring for now!

Since Billie likes those early dives, next time you see a nice PMPS like that you might want an earlier first test to give you a hint where she's going.

I will do that! She definitely startled me with that drop. I'm feeding a bit more LC now. Hopefully, she keeps up the surfing!

The board wasn't loading for me, but I got a +4.75/+5ish reading, and Billie was at 71. She hasn't eaten again since then aside from some treats from the pokes. I offered her more LC food, but I think she's stuffed now. I'll get another test in about 15 minutes.

I was logged on but couldn't get in either. Looks like Billie's starting to rise a bit without food. Last LC was at +4? You want a couple of rising tests without food before calling it a night.
 
It's just about +6, and she's at 92! She hasn't eaten since +4, so she did that all by herself. I feel comfortable calling it a night with that number. I'll leave some LC food out. Hopefully, I don't wake up to too high of a bounce! Thank you Wendy!!! :mrgreen:
