When I came home without Charlie, Tarragon was very upset. He kept looking for him and crying. Poor T. I was finally able to pick Charlie up between PMPS and +2. Look what happened!!! Green! Both boys are snoozing on the dog bed now. Amazing how T's BGs are so affected by stress.
Charlie's US went well. The vet didn't see any growths on his spleen or liver. Woohoo!!!! He does have an enlarged spleen. She said it wasn't huge but is definitely inflamed. We are waiting to get the "official" results from the radiologist tomorrow. A huge sigh of relief. Now to figure out why his spleen is inflamed. Charlie has grass allergies and always has. When they shaved his chest for the US, they found that he has staff infection from scratching so much. The vet said it is possible that the bacteria got into his skin and could have caused the spleen issue. He is now on antibiotics so that should fix the infection. His anal glands were full again, after only 2 weeks. We have to make sure to take him in every month for awhile to get them emptied. Charlie is very loopy tonight after all the sedation.
As long as the radiologist doesn't see anything weird, we should be in the clear. Thank you all for your prayers and vines. LL is a magical place and we are so thankful to have your support for all of our fur kids, even our drooler.
