Yesterday's glimpse of blue
Thanks all for visiting Zener's condo last night with suggestions and experiences you all have had with managing other health issues we have with our FD kitties. It can be such a balancing act! We so appreciate the support and it's always comforting to learn of new things to try to improve our guy's quality of life. We found an online compounding vet pharmacy that can make what they call "tiny tabs" of gabapentin and we are going to try those. Zener takes pills in pill pockets much better than liquids or powder sprinkled on foods.
Zener is so enjoying our summer warm days and nights and spending as much time as possible in his beloved back yard. We had guests over for dinner last night and sat outside way past dark, so the kitties got a lot of extra time in the backyard, in the dark and with the beans! A good brushing this morning restored our black kitty from the brown one we have recently.
Zener is having a good morning, doing yard patrol, decent appy, and pretty good mobility. Mr Liver is all aquiver from the brief blue appearance. It's been two weeks since such a lovely color, so Mr Liver is revisiting his issues. :roll:

Appy, mobility, back yard time with the beans - what can be better? Oh I know, how about some nice solid blues for tomorrow. That would be a great way to celebrate a special day. ;-)
