It's a HOT day here. Beans were up and about early, trying to get things done before the afternoon heat. I'm surprised how much time Neko wants to be in the solarium. It was 30C (mid 80's F) which is warm for us and supposed to be like that for a while. Kitties are pretty quiet today, much more active in the cool of the morning. Neko was at her nanner station when we left for rowing. Morning TFS has turned into TFSA (accupressure), which I do after the shot. Neko was blissing out, closing her eyes and settling down into her bed while I did it.

The memory foam bed arrived yesterday. I'm not sure where it'll stay long term, but I've started with it in the corner of the kitchen where Neko hangs out waiting for Otto. It took her a while to try it, but she did seem to be settling down comfortable on it last night. I haven't seen her back at it yet. :? Not sure if it's the location or the bed.

Another OTJ party tonight! Should be a good one with the full moon.

Good day for Neko. Those are really great numbers for her. Great job, Wendy! The foam bed may be doing a little out gassing and smell funny. Sounds like a great idea for her, I hope she decides she likes it. Stay cool! I finished the race this morning and won my age division! I was the only one... :lol: :lol:

What a nice blue day for Neko, especially if you were out all day! Glad to hear the accupressure and accupuncture treatments seem to be working well! Hope she enjoys that memory foam bet and it helps her to feel better!

A couple of nice days for Neko.

It always amazes me that kritters with so much fur gravitate toward warm places. I'l sweating and Harvey's stretched out in a patch of sunshine near the sliding door! :roll:

It'll be interesting to see how Neko takes to the new bed, once she gets used to the smell of it.

Neko decided to surprise me tonight. I was thinking possible dosecreae, but on second consideration, this dose is looking just fine now. :mrgreen: Neko's been lying on the kitchen floor in front of the fridge vent. I don't know how she can stand it outside. I got pooped out just with a quick lawn mow.

@Liz - I was greedy for green, so I got it. Thanks for the tip on the bed gassing out - the warmth probably makes it worse. Congrats on the race finish and win. I just found out there are 10 in my race next Sunday. Probably not going to make it out of the heats, oh well, it's for the experience.

@Carla - Low blues are nice, but don't let you use Mr. Greenio. She's on the bed right now waiting for Otto.

@Ruth - We were just out in the morning, but with Neko on Levemir I'm usually good to go for a while after morning PS. Not sure about tonight though...

@Tricia - I wonder if the long fur protects the kitties with a cooling layer. Neko doesn't like direct sun for too long with her black hair, but will be in the shade with warm air for much longer than I can. This new bed has got to be more comfortable for her arthritis than her regular bed. Maybe I should try it for a bit. :lol:
