J.D. ate okay last night. Mostly spoon fed, but some on his own, and some syringed.
At about +11.5 this morning, I heard him in the bathroom throwing up. He hasn't done an early morning throw up in a long time, but I thought that's what it was. It wasn't. Normally, if he throws up in the early am hours either nothing comes out or it's just a bit of bile. This was a lot. I mean a lot. I only noticed it because when I went to get him he was laying on the floor and the floor was all wet. I put a paper towel down and went to wash off his leg that was wet from it. Later I had to add almost another 3 paper towels as it was like 3 feet long of liquid. He has done this twice? before. Maybe every 2 to 3 months? I just remember the last time, there was this huge wet spot in front of the linen closed, and it wasn't a pee spot because it covered a large area. I thought it was weird. QUESTION: Has anyone ever heard of anything like this before?

He had a perfect poo this morning. Is peeing fine. I started the morning, by syringing 20ml MaxCal as he wasn't interested in eating from his bowl. At +1 I syringed another 10ml. He has eaten some FF Trout Feast since then, about 1/4 can, and we just got back from a walk.

Looking at the clock... Ug. We have to leave for work in 45 minutes, so I have to log off to get ready.

Oh, no!!! I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't, and for that I'm sorry. Blackie's known to throw up a small amount of white froth (anti-jinx, anti-jinx). I'm sending you both tons and tons of healing vines, wonderful healing great appy vines, and positive thoughts your way, and I wish for J.D. to make a full and speedy recovery. Come on, J.D.!!! PLEASE GET BETTER!!!

Poor J.D. and poor you having to leave for work with him not feeling well. Did he by any chance drink a lot of water quickly? My Tiffany would do that at times.

Don't be turned off by the title. It looks to me like with what J.D. has shown it would be a watch and see what happens approach and maybe add B vitamins if you haven't already.

I'm sending healing vines your way and hope that whatever caused him to throw up is gone.

Piling on more appy and feel better vines for JD. My civie has had some spectacular wet throw ups lately, some with and some without hairballs. At least 3 paper towels worth. :roll: I've been going crazy with the zoom groom and furminator on him and paws crossed anti-jinx it seems to be abating. When he's got one pending he doesn't feel like eating much.

Thanks for the vines and well wishes. He is laying under my desk sleeping.

The last time, I did not see him or hear him, but there was this huge wet spot (I mean like over 1 foot in width and maybe 9 to 10 inches in depth) right up against my linen closet. This was a couple months ago. It was most peculiar.

I may be trying cypro again starting tomorrow, as I have a very busy week all week next week, and need to have some more comfort level that he is eating if needed, while I'm away at work all day.

Adding more prayers for J.D. I don't know about the clear vomit. I hope he's feeling better.

J.D. ate some cat treats at work and a couple bites of FF Gravy Lovers and had a pretty good day BG wise.
He held it all in and didn't pee or poo until the walk home from my car to my condo.

He ate a couple bites of FF Chunky Turkey with extra water added when we got home and that gave my heart a patter.

He just ate some FF Gravey Lovers. I need to syringe feed him now. I am so tired from work, and it's only day 1 out of 6 long days this week.

I think I may be starting to feed him at +11, this week, just to make sure that I get enough food into him before I leave for work at +1.5 each day. I also, may try to start up with cypro again.

I am praying for his anemia to go away and his RBC and appetite to rise.
