Sienne is in our thoughts today.

Rusty had a good shot this morning, so the recovery from yesterday's fur shot is underway. Our weather has turned great: clear and cool. I hope it will hold into next week, when Canoe Outing starts. (not likely, since we live in the mountains :lol: ). For those of you interested in what Rusty's beans do on their summer vacation, here's a link:

Rusty doesn't enjoy Canoe Outing too much because we are out all day (we sleep at home, not in our dorm room, so that we can take care of our kitty).

Very nice on your weather! Sunny but not hot. We continue with our warmer than normal weather, but no one is complaining. It will be another 86 day here with abundant sunshine.

THX for the link to canoe outing. That really looks wonderful. how fortunate that you can participate. I too will hope for good weather for you! Nice too that it is close enough that you can come home in the evening to be with Rusty too.

Come on down Rusty. The weather has been wonderful here too. 70's in July in Tulsa? Tomorrow is going to be 68. A record low high. The paddle looks beautiful. What great fun for everyone. Have a great day Ella!!

It's nice to see Rusty sliding down and getting back on track from the fur shot. We have cooler weather too for a couple of days. I hope you have good weather for your canoe outing next week.

Hi again,
Rusty had a good day of coming down from the fur shot. We went outdoors in the late afternoon, but there were no chipmunks to be seen. I didn't see any all day. I hope that "Shadow" didn't get them (the cat across the street). We were treated to a wonderful display of energy by the little fawn. He/she galloped all around the yard about 4 or 5 times while mamadeer and auntie deer looked on. Then all 3 crossed the street, carefully looking both ways. Our village deer have developed traffic smarts.

Nice flattish blues today Rusty, does that mean lagoon is beckoning?

Loved the photos of the canoe outing. I had to look at the Youtube video posted there. Looks like fun! Lot of kayaks too - we have a couple of those and the waters look like they are fun to explore, especially going under the bridges.

Deer are pretty smart. My parents have a couple herds that hang out near there place and they know when we head to the garden that some nice tasty weeds might end up on the compost pile for them so they follow us down.

Nice blues today! I hope Chip Chip is OK. How cool on the fawn! We just get the occasional coyote. :evil:
