Yesterday, beautiful blue and green, but every few days Neko likes to keep me on my toes by giving me yellow.

7/15 Recap:
AMPS 105 +6 82  +7 83  +9 75
PMPS 102 +3.5 182 +9 97

I really didn't want to test that +4. Neko had been yelling earlier and that's a sign of zooming up. :YMSIGH: But I still can't shoot a PS of 76 and walk away until after onset. I knew from how she was acting around her meals that she wasn't still dropping. It's amazing how quickly the bean gets spoiled with good numbers. This is the first over renal threshold number I've tested since she started acupuncture.

Neko was feeling good first thing this morning. Happy to see us up for rowing and her early morning test treat. After PS I did the acupressure and she came over and helped me watch the end of Le Tour by playing with her nanners nearby. And verbally insisting on some tummy rubs and scritches. :-D Later on I got her back leg psoas muscle stretches done. I'm supposed to do the front as well but I'll start by spacing them out. It's easiest to do when the cat is lying on her side, which Neko often does in the solarium. Yup, another sunny day. Yesterday vetty had asked how long some of her fur had been red/brown and I had to explain how much sun time Neko gets.

Thinking of Sienne and her family today, her sister Jo was an amazing woman. Healing vines to kitties and beans in need, including JD, Lucy, Tricia and fur kids.

Hi Wendy,
Neko deserves a "rest day" now and again. And it's nice to see her sliding back down by +9. It's great that the acutreatments are helping her. Really impressive.

Yes, we get a lot of people with kayaks at Paddle Outing, especially first-timers from downstate (NY City and it's suburbs; the Hudson Valley; New Jersey), where they do a lot of sea kayaking. Most of them discover that it isn't much fun portaging those heavy kayaks on the carry trails! And often they wind up buying or renting a light-weight canoe the next year (my solo canoe weighs 22 lbs.). But they never have to carry their kayaks alone; we all help.

Have a good evening. How are plans for the regatta coming along?

Well, phooey on that yellow but she wasn't there too long. Enjoy your sunshine, Neko, just not on the yellow floor. :-D :-D

PMPS 124
A nice low blue surf would be perfect for tonight - what do you think Neko? I did get the front leg stretch in, apparently it gets easier after a week of doing this.

@Carla, Ella, Liz - Thanks for visiting the yellow girl, at least she decided it wasn't worth spending much time there. We got the regatta schedule today. There's going to be a lot of driving back and forth from our place to the lake (20 minute drive, 10 minute walk on the path). Both DH and I are volunteering (not at the same time) and we have just the one car. I think I'll be able to stick to more or less regular TFS schedule and get back each day for a mid cycle check. Regatta will be done each day in plenty of time for PMPS but I have to be there at one hour before AMPS for a quick meeting on Saturday and to drop DH off for his volunteering on Sunday. Sleep may be in short supply - so what's new.
