Ah, another day were Mr P likes to show off his natural-born diving skills! Once again, a higher "PS", and I spotted Trixie nuggets in the LB. We haven't seen a green "+3" in a couple days, and I love seeing it so extra-dramatically! She SEEMS to be doing OK with Cerenia out of her regular cocktail, but it's still a little too early to make the call. She is doing so well that I'm pretty scared of changing anything, but at the same time, I don't want to over-medicate her or give her something her body doesn't need.
My Dad's PET scan is this afternoon. I don't know if we'll really hear much in the way of a report until we meet with his local oncologist again on Aug 11. Then it's off to Penn on Aug 14. I suggested he put his name on a waiting list at Penn, in case there is a cancellation. I don't know if he did that, though. My Mom has an eye appointment at the same time as my Dad's PET scan, so I'm taking her to that...she has early macular degeneration and in this appointment, they give her an injection in the eyeball (shivers), so she can't drive afterwards (yes, she can still see well enough to drive under normal circumstances!). My Dad doesn't want her to cancel and I agree...both for her eyesight, and to keep his stress levels down. The limbo we're in is rough, but we have no choice but to ride it out...
Have a great day, LL!
