We pulled the trigger this morning and increased to 2.25. It makes me sad when we have to keep going up. Cinco was doing so well for a while, and we thought, with the tumor and Bartonella infection gone, he'd stay nice and low, but nooooooooooooooooooo! :YMSIGH: DH was really bummed as he was enjoying the nice, easy-to-measure 2.0! That AMPS reinforced our decision (I know, you don't make dosing decision based on PS numbers, but it was still a motivator!).
I checked Petco yesterday for turtlenecks and found nothing. I liked the one Chris sent me a link to, but we still have some hot days ahead and it looked pretty warm. I found some cute doggie turtlenecks online, but they take 3 weeks to arrive, so that's out. I will try to get out and about earlier this afternoon so I can hit some more places, including a Babies R Us. In the meantime, I bought something called Paws, which look kind of like a balloon and goes over the foot. Of course, Sasha doesn't like it, and has to stop every other step and shake her foot trying to get it off, but it keeps her from scratching. My only concern is that it seems to fit pretty tightly and I worry about cutting off blood flow. I got the correct size, according to their charts, so I guess I'll just keep checking her foot to make sure it's staying warm from blood flow and watch to make sure she isn't experiencing discomfort (just annoyance). I know she itches because she is absolutely ecstatic when we rub her neck. The hair is still coming out and the skin there, where the hair was barely growing back after being shaved, is dry and it's starting to look like she has leprosy. Poor baby. You aren't supposed to put anything on it to soothe it, either. I hope this phase passes quickly.
Overcast, windy and cool here, so appies were correspondingly good. All four cats ate without complaint, for once! I marked it on the calendar!
Got my first workout in more than six weeks in yesterday. I took it easy, just a 2 mile video after my floor exercises for my back, so I only have a little bit of muscle soreness today. I think I'll stick to the easy plan for a couple more days, just to let the body get used to moving like that again. Time to get going on today's session.
Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Still cheering for OTJ trial kitties. :RAHCAT
