Hi LL. Happy Friday!
Well change of plans for tonight. I was planning to leave work early today to get on the road to drive 3.5 hours to go to my nephew's birthday party, leaving DH as BIC for the night. I absolutely could not get out of work early tonight and actually ended up working late  , so it made no sense to get on the road that late. Instead, I'll leave tomorrow morning and stop by nephew's house to visit and give him his gift. He conveniently lives on the same block as my parents in my hometown.
So, DH is off the hook for tonight. He lucked out as you can see, as Eddie is skydiving again tonight. The upside is he cleared the bounce from the dive/greens last night in a single cycle. The downside is that he's dropping FAST and I'm failing miserably at slowing him down tonight with food. I did put what I've fed in the summary at the top if anyone's interested. I should have fed higher carb at +2, although the 18% at +3 didn't slow him down, so I'm not sure how much luck I would have had slowing him anyway. Hopefully I can keep him above 50 tonight, and for sure above 40.
Looking back, he actually did something similar after earning close reductions from 2.75 down to 2.5, and then down to 2.25, and down to 2. He got into a pattern of dive, bounce, dive, bounce, etc., after having flattened out at 2.75. He did the same thing recently at 2.25....diving, bouncing, etc., and then flattened out for just a handful of cycles before earning a reduction down to 2.0. I'm not going to fret too much about the bouncing, and do what I can to try to manipulate the curve to avoid reductions, but I'm hopeful that as long as he continues to get good nadirs, he will eventually settle down and start to flatten a bit. He was on 20+ cycles of 2.25 and finally started to flatten out, so hopefully, he will do the same on this dose.
Going to try to get caught on up on condos, but prayers and vines headed to all kitties and beans who need them today.
