8/19 Rusty AMPS 213, PMPS 121, +4.5 108

Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is a little bit yellow this morning, but he ate all of his nighttime food shortly before AMPS, so that is certainly a factor. We are about to leave for camp to meet with the well driller. Back in the mid afternoon, hopefully in time for +9. In the meantime, Rusty has food in his automat and is at present sound asleep in his basket (cold here this morning: 40 degrees F.). It's a beautiful day and he will enjoy some outdoor time when we get home.

Hi again,
Judging from Rusty's PMPS, he probably was on duty at the lagoon today. We got back later than planned. All went well. We've been thinking about having a well drilled at camp for a few years now. At present we pump our water out of the lake (and bring our drinking water from home, or from a nearby spring). It's a hassle every year putting the water lines in in spring and taking them out in fall, so come October, the well driller will drill a well for us and set up everything so that it is simple to drain the pipes. This is very exciting!

Rusty was happy to see us, even though he didn't get to go outside today.

The well does sound like a good idea. My parents have one at their house. Did you get a dowser in to tell you where to drill?
