Yesterday's 15th birthday and homecoming celebrations
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes for our guy. Z-man loved his pictures, cakes, and birthday wishes. He is very excited that next year, he can drive! He is showing off today with a blue surf!
I am so happy to be home!!! After being gone for a month, it will take a few days to get back in the swing of things. My long flight from London to Phoenix was delayed by an hour and thank the travel goddess, I made it though passport control, customs and security (for the 4th time that day) with a few minutes to spare to catch the flight to Flagstaff. Lucky for me, the departure gate was the closest gate. It was the last flight of the day, so hooray I made it!
So much happened while I was away. New kitties to meet, OTJ kitties to celebrate, and rainbow bridge crossings to grieve. I am so grateful to you all for supporting Liz and the kitties while I was away. I don't know how she managed everything on top of getting ready to start school. The best of all about being home, our guy is still here and doing better than when I left. Liz wins the prize for best BIC from me! :YMHUG:
Since I am supremely jet-lagged, being away a month I am completely on the Germany time zone, we are keeping the dose steady until I get adjusted. I would fail at PJ party duty for another couple of days.
