9/1 Neko PMPS 212

Yesterday, a day of ugly numbers for Neko. The only good thing was, the bean got sleep, until the darn civie decided he wanted snuggles at +9. :-x

Neko's got 4 out of 5 P's this morning (no play yet) and her appy is again about 80-90% of what's normal for her. She's keen, doing some quiet mewing for food, trotting to the food dish area, just not the wild crazy lab dog appetite and enthusiasm I'm used to. Food is mostly CPC, just a small crumb or two, and she's eating her raw turkey today, although the second half of main meal needed some FD chicken dust. First date with Otto went well. She's been out on the deck for some sniffs and a brief walk.

I haven't given Cerenia yet - I was holding off pending poo action as it's contraindicated for blockages and wanted to make sure everything there was working well. I can't always tell whose poo is which cat's, but location (pepper pot :roll: ) gave it away today. Still debating on the Cerenia or not. Neko's numbers are still wanting. Today is the 6th cycle after I did the panic reduce when she was still not eating and vomiting. If I don't see improvement end of day I will do a increase.

On the up side today, Mariko is visiting later today. It'll be so good to see her and I'm glad Neko is feeling good enough for visitors.

Sending more appy vines Neko's way, and paws are crossed for better numbers if you decide to go with the dosecrease tonight. (Well, paws are actually crossed for better numbers regardless of the dose, but you know what I mean.)

Hi Wendy,

I'm glad to read that Neko's appetite seems to be improving. Continued vines for the return of 100% Neko appy. Good luck with the dosecrease and fingers crossed that Neko's numbers start to improve. Maybe as she feels better, her numbers will start to come back down to where they belong.

I'm glad she's doing better but we will send extra special full up appy vines. Paws crossed the numbers start down.

Please give Mariko a gigantic hug for us. I'd love to meet you both and so excited you get to spend time together and she gets to see Neko, Theo, and Otto of course because he plays such a significant role in the Divine Miss N's life

Hope you got some rest; I know you've been stressed with her not feeling 100%. I can identify!

She's slowly easing down but she still got a dosecrease. I want blue. I did end up giving Cerenia this morning. Her appy seems to be there, but she's not finishing off everything quickly like she used to.

I had a great visit with Mariko. We can talk cats forever. Mariko was very kind to give me a few of Lucy's things, such as syringes. I'll be remembering that sweet girl every day for a while.

@Catherine, Shelly, Dyana, Jen, Liz, Carla, Marje, Marilyn, Mariko, Deanna - Thanks for stopping in. I think Neko is a bit more enthusiastic about food, just not sure why she's still so slow to eat. She LOVED the new PureBites FD salmon treats that Mariko brought. Theo's been batting around a nip cigar she gave them.

i LOVE to read stories in condos about when beans meet in person. And it is such a wonderful gift to be able to share (or receive) FD supplies from GA kitties. Connections, we are all connected. :YMHUG:

So glad to hear Neko is feeling better-even if you had to go with cerenia- a girl's gotta eat! Sending more feel better vines and calming vines for you. That is awesome that you and Mariko could meet up-how cool is that!

It sounds like Neko is doing better. I'm glad you used the cerenia. Often if you start nausea meds when they aren't eating right you can avoid a longer go of it. I never wait any more. It won't hurt and can only help. I hope tomorrow is an even better day.

Well, looks like Ms. Neko declined Cinco's invitation for a trip to the lagoon this evening. He ended up going with China, instead. Gracie only went as far as the shore. MaybeNeko'll be ready for a dip tomorrow. I'm sure Cinco would love to be her escort.

It's so lovely that you and Mariko can visit each other. We are all "neighbors" in LL, but not many of us can get together face to face. I hope you found Mariko well and dealing with Lucy's loss. How kind of her to share Lucy's supplies with Neko.
